The Red Thread

Invisible, yet it binds so tight,

A thread of crimson, spun in the night.

Across vast oceans, through time and space,

It pulls two hearts to their destined place.

No blade can sever, no force can tear,

What fate has woven with tender care.

Though tangled paths may cause delay,

The thread endures; it finds its way.

Hi, hello, we said to try again,

Two weary souls, now braver than then.

Time had softened the edges of pain,

And hope sparked brightly, like sun after rain.

The thread between us had never frayed,

Though silence lingered, the bond had stayed.

We spoke with caution, but hearts wide open,

Mending the pieces that once were broken.

For those connected are meant to meet,

A bond unbroken, pure and sweet.

The red thread whispers, soft and true,

"I was always meant to find you."
