Somehow, through sheer luck and evasion, Zairai made it to the final round. The battlefield was an abandoned industrial zone filled with traps and hazards. Zairai’s opponents included LLENN and Fukaziroh, Pitohui, and—worst of all—Kirito and Asuna, who had entered the tournament as a duo.
As chaos erupted, Zairai focused on surviving. He darted between cover, narrowly avoiding Pitohui’s maniacal barrage of gunfire and LLENN’s relentless pursuit. Fukaziroh’s grenades shook the ground, while Shinon’s Hecate thundered in the distance.
In a desperate attempt to escape, Zairai stumbled into a glowing capsule—the grand prize container. His hand accidentally triggered its release.
With a hiss, the capsule opened, revealing a humanoid figure.
“Designated owner detected,” the figure said, her glowing eyes locking onto Zairai. “I am Arfa-Sys Unit R-92. Awaiting commands.”
The battlefield froze as players stared at the prize.
“Wait… what just happened?” Zairai asked, still crouched on the ground.
The system announced him as the winner.
