Months had passed since Josh, Juicy, Sam, and Colby had filmed their paranormal investigation at the old mansion. The memory of that night lingered in Josh’s mind—the eerie EVP, the closeness he’d felt with Juicy, the unspoken bond that had grown between them. And despite the lingering fear of the unknown, Josh had never felt more certain about his feelings for Juicy. The bond between them had only deepened since then, each day a step further into something real and exciting.

But tonight… Tonight was different.

The group had received a message from a fan—one that had haunted Josh’s thoughts for weeks. Apparently, the mansion had been abandoned again, and some of their followers claimed to have seen strange lights and shadows moving in the windows. The energy there hadn’t dissipated, and in fact, some even said the spirits had grown more active, more angry. The warning had been clear: they were *not* welcome.

Despite this, Sam and Colby, as always, were eager to investigate. Juicy and Josh were more hesitant, but something in the back of their minds—some nagging sense of adventure and curiosity—drove them to join.

---

The night had started off just like the last one: they arrived at the mansion, the moon a thin sliver in the sky, casting a cold, pale light across the building. The air was thick with unease, but the group did what they always did—set up cameras, checked their equipment, and joked nervously to mask their tension.

"Alright, here we go again," Sam said, a slight edge to his voice as he set up the EVP recorder. "Let’s see if we can catch anything else creepy tonight."

Colby gave Sam a reassuring smile, his hand resting on Sam’s shoulder. "This time, we’re sticking together. Last time, it got pretty chaotic. We don’t know what’s waiting for us in there."

Josh looked over at Juicy, who was unusually quiet, his hands stuffed in the pockets of his hoodie. There was an air of apprehension around him that Josh hadn’t noticed before. "You good?" Josh asked, nudging Juicy’s side.

Juicy gave him a small, forced smile, but there was something different in his eyes. Something a little darker, a little distant. "Yeah," Juicy said, but his voice lacked the usual confidence. "Just… feel like something’s off."

Josh’s stomach twisted. He didn’t want to admit it, but he felt it too. The house, the energy, even the air felt wrong. He nodded at Juicy, his voice barely above a whisper. "We’ll be fine. Just stick together, okay?"

Juicy nodded, but there was a flicker of doubt in his eyes.

---

The mansion was just as eerie as Josh remembered—dust-coated furniture, broken windows, and a thick, suffocating silence. The group moved through the house with their flashlights cutting through the dark, their footsteps echoing in the empty rooms.

"Alright, let’s set up here," Sam said, leading them into the large hallway where they’d had their most unsettling experience last time. "We’ll run an EVP session here and see if we can get anything."

As they all positioned their cameras and mics, the tension in the room grew. Colby stood beside Sam, his hand lightly touching Sam’s arm in reassurance. Josh and Juicy stood a little further back, their backs to the wall, eyes scanning every shadow as if waiting for something to jump out.

They turned on the EVP recorder and waited in silence, the only sounds being their breathing and the occasional creak of the old house settling.

It wasn’t long before the first strange sound made itself known: a soft whisper that seemed to come from somewhere deep in the shadows.
