‘That’ challenge video was uploaded at 2 AM the day after the CSAT (College Scholastic Ability Test) ended.

The camera was simply focused on the streetlight that illuminated the dark night.
There wasn’t any additional audio, so you could clearly hear the sound of the wind and the noises of someone handling a phone. Soon, the sound of a song began to play from what seemed like another person’s phone.
The song was familiar, but it felt somewhat strange because the tempo was slightly faster than the original. As if the speed had been increased, not only the song but also the voices of the vocalists sounded somewhat altered, giving them a slightly cute tone.

I’ll live with anticipation every day
As the song played, Yugeon and Taehyun, wearing the same outfits they had worn on the day of the exam, complete with their backpacks, came running into the frame from both sides, their footsteps audible. They performed the challenge choreography with light but rhythmic movements.
It seemed they hadn’t practiced much, as Taehyun and Yugeon occasionally glanced at each other, copying the other’s moves, and even made slight mistakes, causing the person holding the camera to chuckle, which was also captured in the challenge video.

As they moved into the second chorus, where the difficulty of the steps slightly increased, Yugeon and Taehyun continued the challenge, pointing out each other’s mistakes.

As soon as the song ended, so did the choreography, but the video continued a bit longer.
After finishing the challenge, Yugeon and Taehyun were seen consulting with the member holding the camera, chatting amongst themselves. As they naturally approached the camera, smiling comfortably, the video concluded with the sound of the person holding the camera manipulating the phone to stop recording.
There was nothing particularly special about this challenge video.
It was simply a video with the quality you’d expect from friends who decided to shoot a trending challenge shorts video after school—nothing more, nothing less.
But that naturalness and rawness were enough to evoke a certain nostalgia in people, like an old film photograph you had taken as a child and forgotten about.
