finding light in the darkness (heartstopper fan fic)

Moving in.

Tw: yelling, drug use, swering, smoking. (If i missed any tell me and i will add the tw in)

Nick pov
I wake up to the sound of bagging on my door.
"What!" I yell from my bed, still half asleep.
"Mate, our new roommates are gunna be here soon. Get up" Josh tells me opening my door.
"Shit, ok I will be out soon" I say, sitting up in bed.
"Alright, mate don't take to long" Josh says and shuts my door, walking away.

I look at my clock to see what the time is. 11am I get out of bed and put on a black top and grey joggers. I sit back on my bed to have a bong. After I had just finished blowing all the smoke out and placed my bong down. Loude knocking starts to come from the front door. I have a drink of water and then leave my room keeping the door open behind me. As I reach the door, Josh is alredy stood there talking to two guys.
"Finally up mate" Josh jokes, turning to face me.
"Yeah I guess" I respond, with a laugh, which then ended up with me coughing a bit.

"Anyways, Ben and Charlie are here" Josh says with a smile on his face, turing towards them.
"Hi'yah" I say as they walk in the house, carrying copel bags each they moved the rest of their stuff in the day before while I was asleep.
"Hey mate" Ben says as he walks in the house, further passing me. I have met Ben a copel times over the years at Partys and stuff, or when Josh would have some peopel over.
"Hey" Charlie says as he passes me right behind Ben. How I only see when Ben would bring him to Josh's hang outs.

I walk to the kitchen and grab a redbull form the fridge. I crack it open and take a sip when charlie walking in the room.
"Hey, where can I smoke?" He asks holding a packet of cigarettes and a lighter.
"Anywhere really" I say and he looks a bit confused.
"You can have one near the window there's a ashtray there" I say trying to make more sense.
"Ok thanks" he says walking to the window and lighting one as he inhaled the smoke his face just relaxed and he didn't seem as anxious anymore.

I sit my drink down after drinking some more and grab my packet of doritos out the cobord and eat a few before going to my room. I sit my redbull and dortos on my night stand before rolling a smoke and lighting it walking to the kitchen agin. Charlie is still stood there with his eyes bearly open as he smokes he looks so peacfull. I go stand next to the window he opens his eyes fully now looking at me.
"Arw you alright your eyes are a bit red?" He asks in a concernd tone.
"Yeah I had a bong before you got here that's why ny eyes are red probly" I say casually.
"Oh ok makes sence" he says putting his smoke out. He opens the fridge and takes out a water bottel taking a few sips.

Chralies pov
I walk back into Ben's and I's room. I put my smokes and water on my side of the bed.
"You know I hate when you smell like cigarettes" ben says sitting on his side of the bed.
"I know" I say not looking at him in I quiet voice.
"Look at me when your talking I can't fucking here you" he says getting angry now witch I know what will lead to. I'm do stupid why can't I jsut be a good boyfriend for once.
"Sorry" I say now looking at him.
"Good" he says and leave ours room slaming the door behind him, which makes me jump a bit. But then all of a sudden, I hear shouting coming from the other side of the door. I leave me and Ben's room to see what is happening Nick yelling at nothing while Josh is tring to calm him down and Ben is stood in the door frame watching.
"NICK CALM DOWN YOUR ALRIGHT" Josh says in a rasied but reassuring voice.
"GET THE FUCK AWAY FROM ME!" Nick yells backing up in the corner of the kitchen. He was so calm and relaxed now he is just so panicked.

Nick pov
Why did he have to slam the door now they have to seen me like this I'm so stupid I'm so stupid I'm so stupid I'm so stupid.
"I'm sorry I didn't mean to shout. I'm so stupid. I'm sorry" I say dropping to the floor and start to cry why am I like this I'm such a shit person I always do this it's all my fault evrything is my fault what's the point of me being alive.
"Hey mate it's not your fault calm down evything is fine" Josh says in a calming voice.
"Come on a shower will make you fell better" Josh says and come closer to me.
"Ok" is all I say he helps me up from the floor I wipe all my tears away and look up at the door frame to see Charlie and Ben standing there in shock probly trying to process what jsut happend. I'm such a shit person. Why am I like this. Josh moves from beside me to infront to ask Charlie and Ben to move.
