I saw him from afar as he was crouching to the eye level of a little boy. From this distance, I could say that the boy is his child. I was so distraught seeing the love of my life having a family of his own. I should have held on to him when I saw his intention of leaving.

His eyes were full of sorrows and I cannot say that I did not see them when he said his goodbye that night. I know that he loves me and I was so foolish to not realize that I love him too. Because of my desire to get my company back and to take my revenge against the woman who had hurt me, I failed to see my heart.

He had claimed my heart without my knowledge to the point of feeling empty the moment that he was gone. I tried to search for him everywhere. I went to all the places that we have spent our days together but I still could not find him.

He had successfully hidden himself from me and it seems like he had no intention of coming back to me.

Josh, who became my best friend despite his brother's disapproval, found him for me. He told me that he found him on one of the beaches in Guimaras Island. He also told me that I should not expect to get him back because he seems to be happy and has a family of his own. He even discouraged me from going there for I will just hurt myself by seeing my beloved with someone else.

Despite all of his discouragements, I still decided to go there and see to myself if he is really happy.

Now, as I watched him laugh and play with the little boy, who looks just like him, I could not stop myself from crying. I cried for the times that I wasted. I cried while reminiscing the times that I had taken his love for granted.

I did not notice that the little boy saw me watching them and pointed at me. It was too late when I realized that he had finally seen me. He stared at me with tears in his eyes and I could see, even in the great distance, that he was in pain.

I ran towards him, ignoring the fact that he is already married, and held him in my arms. I held his head against me and cried hard and painfully.

"Please, Telvest, please, come back to me. I cannot live without you anymore." I pleaded as I tightened my hold on him.

He just let me hold him with his hand on his side. And after a long moment of me crying and pleading, I pulled away and looked him in the eye.

"Get on your knees and beg for my forgiveness." He coldly said as he looked at me without any emotion on his face.

I stepped backward, finding his coldness unfamiliar. He was not the Telvest that I knew before. He became so cold and cruel.

"Leave now, if your pride is more important to you." He flatly said and he turned around and acted like he would leave.

Finding him took me more than a year. So, getting on my knees should not be a big deal and I should have done it from the start.

Without any hesitation, I got on my knees and waited for him to turn back at me but he continued on walking away with the boy in his hand.

"Please, forgive me. I love you, Telvest." I begged loudly and that made him stop.

He turned around and watched me for a moment without saying anything.

I missed you so much. I added inwardly and felt my tears flowing on my face.
