How long has it been? Weeks? Months? Multiple months? You had been stuck in this damned place for so long you had lost track, the terrarium grew duller by the days, and you barely had the energy to move.

You were sitting on the floor, knees pulled to your chest. You had been sat there for hours, as Shockwave was elsewhere, apparently working on something important. It was quiet, and despite your despair, you felt yourself begin to slip into sleep.

All was silent, and the shadows of slumber enclosed around your figure, claws of exhaustions surrounding your body.

That was until the doors to the lab hissed open. Perking up, you were expecting Shockwave to have returned, but by the bright, cherry red paint, you were proven wrong. Knockout, it was Knockout.

Despite all the hate you had conjured up for him, you didn't have the energy to be upset at him right now. You simply stood up, and walked over to the glass of your terrarium, palms pressed against it as you blinked up at Knockout.

"Rise and shine, fleshy," he drawled out, making an act of his stride as he came over.

You simply blinked again, head tilting to the side before you answered quietly.

"What's the occasion this time?" you prompted tiredly, rubbing your eyes awake as your vision reluctantly cleared.

Knockout paused, as if silenced by surprise by the lack of the usual biting and snippiness to your tone. But after so long, wouldn't it be expected? After being stuck in here for so long? Alone?

The red rims of his eyes shifted, before he cleared his throat, and replied, reaching into the tank to beckon you forth.

"After the Starscream incident, the big baby bot doesn't want you hanging out alone anymore," he mused, lifting you with surprising care into the air, before casually propping you on his shoulder.

You stumbled a moment, before falling down, landing on your rump in the area between his neck and the curving bump of his shoulder. Shifting, you got comfortably as he began to walk, then looked to Knockout with a quirked brow.

"'Baby bot'?" you echoed, clearly confused.

Knockout's shoulders shook as he laughed, causing you to have to grasp onto the cables on his neck for leverage. Falling to your death because you fell off of a robot's shoulder was definitely not an honorable death.

"Shockwave," he replied, blinking down at you with a gesture of his hand, fingers fluttering teasingly as he prodded your side carefully. "Your guardian was quite whiny towards Starscream after what happened."

You hummed in confusion, but decided not to dwell on his words. Instead, you simply leaned against the shoulder over Knockout. You were tired, and weak, but... you felt safe... for once.

Walking into the main bridge, you were graced by the lack of sight of the Lord bot and Starscream. In fact, there were only a couple bots there, a few clones, and then the one dark bot you had met before.

"Soundwave," you murmured under your breath, making Knockout laugh softly in amusement.

The med bot walked over to the faceless bot, who glanced over, and nodded in greeting. While he was... well, faceless, it seemed like he was staring at you. WAs he curious, perhaps? About the human being held on the warship?

"Inquiry: Why is the human here?" A deep, slightly crackled mix of different voices clipped together rumbled from Soundwave, his visor lighting up and displaying, well- soundwaves.

Your eyes widened, and your lips pursed together.

"Woah..."

Knockout glanced over at you, before chuckling again. Your brow furrowed together, and you gave him a side glance. Shifting again, you blinked over at Soundwave with wonder.
