"Okay, okay thanks Mrs Keany." I nodded as the old woman on the phone babbled away about her insurance. She was always a chatter, and I glanced at the clock that had ticked past five already.

Eventually she hung up, and I sighed to myself as I started gathering my things. The day was just as boring as the last one, and the one before that. God I was sick of this shit.

Saying goodbye to everyone at the office, I headed out to catch the train home. The early evening was drizzly and miserable, making me huff as I tucked my jacket up higher around my neck. For some reason I was just pissed off today; everything had gone wrong. First the train to work had broken down and made me late, things had just been shit, and now it was raining.

"Kelce?" A low male voice caught my attention and I glanced over to see a man in all black by my side.

"Who's asking?" I looked him up and down. A strong hand circled my elbow and I assessed the guy, wondering if I was in danger.

"You need to come with me." He said.

"The fuck I do." I tried to pull my arm away, but the dude had a vice like grip.

"Mr Kelce, you can come with me quietly or I can make you. It's your choice."

"Who the fuck are you?" I hissed, looking around.

"Drew." He answered. "I work for someone who needs to speak with you."

"I'm not interested in speaking with anyone I don't know shit about."

Then there was a jab in my ribs, and I cursed, wrenching my arm away, but not quick enough before darkness folded my eyes shut.

Hissing voices caught my attention first and I panicked, trying to get my body to move. But everything was sluggish, and I just sat - I think I was sitting - there wherever I was as I tried to regain full consciousness.

"Did you really have to drug him?" An irritated female voice asked.

"He wouldn't come quietly." Someone said like they were justifying fucking stabbing me with a needle. What the hell was going on?

"Right." The woman sighed. "Well you can go now."

"Are you sure Ma'am?"

"Yes." She snapped. "What, you think he'd be able to take me down."

"No Ma'am, I'm sorry. You know where I am if you need anything."

Footsteps echoed away, a door clicked, and I heard a sigh of irritation as I forced my eyelids open. I was slumped in a chair at some kind of dining table, and there was a woman standing across from me. She towered in high boots but I could tell I was still taller than her, however her demeanor immediately made me feel small.

She was...powerful. I saw it in the way she held herself, the way she'd spoken. Every part of her body oozed with authority.

And then her piercing blue eyes snapped across to meet mine, a lock of wavy blonde hair falling into her face at the same time. She straightened up, folding her arms as she looked at me.

"You are Travis right?" She asked. "I want to make sure I have the right person."

"What the fuck did you people to do me?" I snapped, making to get up before I realized my arms wouldn't move. Looking down, I saw that someone had chained my wrists to the arms of the chair. "Oh what the fuck?" I looked back up at the woman.

"The first thing you need to know." She said in a threatening tone. "Is that you do not talk to me that way. Understood?" God, I thought she might kill me with that glare. Backing down, I nodded meekly. "Good." She sighed. "My name is Taylor Swift."
