how it came to be

Katara was 8 when it happened. She was sitting there with her brother Sokka talking about what they were doing to play when the snow turned black and dark.  Katara ran for her mother while her brother ran to the fight which was typical of him. As she ran for her igloo a Fire Nation guard grabbed Katara by the wrist "this one is perfect tell the general we got what we came for" the guard yelled still holding Katara wrist. He then started to pull her to the ship but then someone knocked him out and pulled Katara into a tight hug. "Katara listen to me" her mother said to her as she took off her neckless and put on Katara "I will never let them take you" then the Fire Nation guard woke up "you" he yelled and then he grabbed Katara and thru her to another guard who but Katara up on to his shoulder. Then Katara heard screaming and when the guard turned around Katara saw her mother in the snow blood making it red. Katara screamed and kicked for the guard to let her go but it did nothing she saw her brother and father trying to get to her but were unsuccessful. The guards thru Katara into a cell with another girl she had short brown hair and blue eyes like Katara, but they were more like a Tiffany Blue and Katara's were like a Persian blue. "Hi, I'm Suki and you are?"" "Katara" then after a half hour Suki started talking again "I wonder where they are talking us" she said looking at Katara then the door opened and they thru someone in it was as a little girl around the age of 6 she had black hair and white glossed over eyes showing that she was blind. She had a heziqun on and her hair was in a bun. She then got up and started yelling at the door "you better let me out or I will find some earth and hit you as hard as I can" she then turned around to face Katara and Siki "they got you to" "yea but how did you know that we were here" Katara asked "I can fell the vibrations in the ground to see you using Earthbending" she said then sat down by the other girls "I'm Toph what's your names" "I'm Suki and this is Katara" Suki said with a smile. After talking for a while they all went to sleep and, in the morning, one of the guards woke them up and then tied their hands together and paused them out of the door and started to take them to the Fire Nation Palace.
