Oh, and Kamiko/Shirogane's proper introduction happens at the end of Chapter 48 in Odyssey of Valor. Check that out for a whole other perspective on him-it'll likely tie into even bigger plot points down the road!)

4 Years later after the Dread encounter
"Good morning, Valor!" the news reporter repeated with a bright smile, gesturing to the massive digital screen behind her. The display showed a vibrant sunrise over Valor City's iconic skyline, with a scrolling forecast promising nothing but sunshine and warm temperatures. "It's shaping up to be another stunning day here in our city. Perfect weather to hit the beach or enjoy a stroll through Valor Square!"
The camera panned slightly, revealing the VCUU logo in bold letters alongside footage of their recent activities. "And speaking of sunny days," the reporter continued, "we owe a big thanks to the VCUU, our city's hero school. Their tireless work keeps the peace, protects the people, and ensures that Valor remains a safe haven for all its residents. Just yesterday, the VCUU finalized a community outreach project in the West District, helping rebuild homes affected by last year's devastating attack. Truly heroic efforts both on and off the battlefield!"
The screen switched to grainy cellphone footage of a daring rescue. A nimble figure leapt from building to building, carrying citizens to safety. "On the field, our very own Monkey Prince swung into action this morning, saving several citizens trapped on a malfunctioning ferris wheel at the downtown carnival. Witnesses described his heroics as 'graceful' and 'best'-in the best possible way, of course!"
The reporter chuckled lightly before the screen shifted again, showing a powerful-looking man with glowing gauntlets restraining a masked villain in an alleyway. "And let's not forget Asher, the fiery hero who apprehended an Unknown just hours ago. Reports confirm that the villain had been planning an attack on the city's power grid, but thanks to Asher's quick thinking and unrelenting resolve, the day was saved yet again."
Her smile faltered slightly as the camera flickered unexpectedly, static briefly taking over the feed. "It's days like this that remind us why we call Valor City ho-"
The screen abruptly went black. A tense silence filled the air before a deep, distorted voice echoed across every television and device tuned into the broadcast.
"Your peace is a lie. The storm is coming."
The broadcast cut out entirely, leaving an unsettling hum of static in its wake.
Dread tightened his grip on the bat resting over his shoulder, a wicked grin spreading across his face. "Nobody knows my name yet, but trust me-they will. Once this one wipes them all out!" His gaze shifted to Shirogane, standing nearby with a dark intensity burning in his eyes.
