A strange red light came from the horizon, everyone stood still to watch it. It felt warm, like standing near a fire on a cold night.. It was early morning when this light came, dawn. Even the princess had gone outside to watch the bright crimson flash appear for what felt like hours, which was only a few minutes. She swore it was calling to her, pulling her by the soul to go towards the light but she shook her head. She has to be still tired she thought to herself.

A few days went by and the world felt unusually tense, Serenity couldn't understand why she had a gut feeling that something big would happen. From merchants on the streets she heard whispers that a god came down from the heavens, which she thought was strange. They whispered a young man descended from heaven itself and called himself a king.
"Must be a mad man." Serenity mumbled to herself. It's not uncommon for mad people to assume themselves as gods, her father was once that way she recalled.

A few months passed by, forgetting about the event. But one afternoon, Serenity walked back from the marketplace to home.. Once home at DragonStone, the world slowly fell around her, the walls breaking as well as the ground. A white flash crossed her eyes, blinding her so much she had to cover her eyes squinting. Once she reopened them, she was in a white void.. Nothing was around but only to her shock a yellow dragon, floating right in front of her eyes. Now she's really gone mad she thought.
A booming voice came from the golden dragon with ruby eyes. It felt heavenly, so divine it was almost overwhelming. It explained in a stern voice that his brother had came down to Earth as one of her own, a human. It proceeded to explain that he was in grave danger and he and his brothers needed warriors to protect and serve their brother...
Before the teenage girl could even mutter a response the god continued. It told her to drink its blood from this cup, which magically appeared in front of her. A golden cup filled with what seemed to be blood. It promised her that by drinking this blood, she shall become a dragon warrior, the Ouryuu and loyal sworn protector of his brother, Hiryuu..

It was a difficult thing to deny, she was chosen by a god, chosen by the Ouryuu. How could she reject, it almost felt impossible to reject the offer. So she agreed, she swore that she would protect Hiryuu by drinking its blood... Once she drank it the world had flashed before her eyes again. She was back where she was at home, she felt a warm rush inside her entire body for a long moment... She swore she imagined her skin gone golden... But something that she saw that indeed turned golden was her hair? Her silver white hair was gone, now into a golden blonde... She quickly ran to a nearby mirror, she gasped... She could hardly recognize herself, blonde hair, blue eyes? Ouryuu didn't mention this before letting her drink its blood!?

She paced in the court room with her guard nearby. She had not long ago received a letter from a stranger... It was signed by the green dragon, another one of the chosen warriors like her. The north seemed to be under war, their King Hiryuu was held captive, his execution planned soon.. The other three warriors who were already joined together with their forces needed her to join as well and bring allies. Now for a seventeen year old girl this was a lot to take in... Moreover it had only been a week since her sudden change of appearance and she was already being told to leave the south for the north with an army. She knew deep down that she isn't a warrior, she has never picked up a weapon before, she has expectations but can she really do it?
