JORDAN'S MOTHER hovered her head over the coffee table, kneeling. He was scrolling on his phone with a foot propped on the table besides his mother, eyes glancing at her before setting on her with furrowed brows. "Seriously mom? I'm right here," he grumbled as his mother pulled up.

White powder substances scattered along her nose, her eyes hazy as her finger hovered underneath her nostrils; sniffing in. "Sorry, the craving gets to you." She slurred as she stood up, brand heels clicked against the marble tile. Jordan dug into his pocket for a stick, "anyone coming over tonight?"

His mother nodded no, pupils dilating wide as her hands reached for a glass of wine. She leaned a hip against the white marble counter, looking out into the patio window which showcased a cascade of the city. "I don't think so, why?" Jordan shrugged as he played with the lighter between his fingers. "You know I don't like- y'know- being here during the deals."

His mother plopped onto the couch besides him, arms envoloped him into a hug. His head dug into her comfort, breathing in her scent of cherries and a tinge of wine. "Beautiful, beautiful, beautiful boy..." her voice whispered as his eyes fluttered shut, ears warmed up to her soft singing. The feeling of her hands bringing a mother's warmth to him was heavenly.

The sound of owls hooting and crickets chirping brought him out his dream, gulping as his eyes made contact with the room ceiling. He turned on his side with a sigh, he felt his right hand grip onto something- what the hell? He brought his hand up, the moonlight luckily brought in a dim blue light. Jordan huffed to himself, the bow somehow still found it's way to his hand.

"I can hear your breathing, quit it." Luka snapped from beneathed it, "if you're going to be a pervert go be one at your own home." Jordan raised a brow, scoffing. "What's your problem, dude?"

"You," Luka chuckled. "Go take a walk or something." Jordan sat up, hopping off the top bunk, feet planting on the floor- he glanced down at Luka who had a leg propped up with a cocky smirk. "I will, good idea." He scrambled for his jacket, zipping it up.

Vince let out an ear deafening snore, drool dripped from the side of his lips. "Gross," Luka scrunched his nose as his book was on his chest- glasses rested on the bridge of his nose. Jordan chuckled as his eyes skimmed around the desk, grabbing a ball of used tape.

"What are you doing now?" Luka grumbled as he watched Jordan lean over Vince's bed, his fingers shakily placed the ball of tape on the tip inside his mouth. "You're such an idiot," the blonde boy muttered as Jordan pulled away with a stifled laugh. "What if he chokes?"

"Then he chokes," Jordan shrugged before holding out a small baggie that contained some sort of purple substance from his jacket pocket, waving it towards Luka. "Wanna go with me?" The blonde boy kicked his hand away, "get that and you away from me." Jordan scoffed, shoving the baggie into his side as he made his way out.

The warm tears dampened Jules's cheeks as her back felt drownded between her bedsheets and blankets. Fingers hesitant over the call button on her father's contact before scrolling away through their messages.

Her last message a minute before, 'hii- how was your day...?' Eyes snapped onto the dreadful 'seen' that brought her guts to the pit of her stomach. Jules squeezed her eyes shut with tears cascading down before opening her burning eyes up, feeling the snot form. She sniffled, throwing her phone besides her pillow and rubbing her face.
