It started on an ordinary Tuesday morning. Hermione was rushing out the door to drop Lyra and Scorpius off at their tutoring session before heading to the Ministry. Lately, she'd been feeling a bit more tired than usual, but she attributed it to her packed schedule. However, as she buttoned her coat, a wave of dizziness hit her so suddenly that she had to grab the edge of the counter to steady herself.

"Mummy, are you okay?" Lyra asked, her wide eyes filled with concern.

"I'm fine, love," Hermione assured her, though she couldn't shake the feeling that something was... off.

Later that afternoon, after feeling nauseous yet again, she decided to stop by St. Mungo's for a quick check-up.

---
"Congratulations, Mrs. Malfoy," Healer Jacobs said with a kind smile, setting down his wand after completing the diagnostic spell. "You're pregnant."

Hermione blinked. "I'm... pregnant?"

"Yes, about six weeks along," he confirmed.

A rush of emotions flooded through her—shock, excitement, and a bit of nervousness. Her hand instinctively rested on her abdomen as she processed the news.

She left the hospital in a daze, her thoughts spinning. How would she tell Draco? And the kids? ---
Hermione knew exactly who she needed to talk to first. Harry had always been her confidant, the one she turned to when her emotions were too big to handle alone.

She Floo-called him to meet her at their favorite café in Diagon Alley, and Harry arrived promptly, his green eyes curious.

"What's going on?" he asked, sitting across from her. "You look... nervous."

Hermione took a deep breath. "Harry, I went to St. Mungo's today."

His face immediately shifted to concern. "Are you okay?"

She smiled, her cheeks flushing slightly. "I'm fine. Actually, I'm more than fine. I'm... pregnant."

Harry's jaw dropped, and then a grin spread across his face. "Are you serious? Hermione, that's amazing!"

She laughed, relieved by his reaction. "It's a bit unexpected, but yes."

"Have you told Draco yet?" Harry asked, leaning forward.

"Not yet. You're the first to know," she admitted.

"Well, this is going to be the best news he's ever heard," Harry said confidently. "And Lyra and Scorpius? They're going to flip!"

---
Later that evening, Hermione invited Ginny and Ron over for tea. She knew Ginny would scream and Ron would have a million questions, but she couldn't wait to see their reactions.

As they settled in, Ginny gave her a curious look. "Alright, Hermione, spill. I can tell you've got something big to share."

Hermione bit her lip, trying to hide her smile. "I'm pregnant."

The room fell silent for a moment before Ginny let out an ear-piercing squeal. "Hermione! That's incredible!"

Ron blinked, his mouth opening and closing like a fish. "Another Malfoy? Merlin help us."

"Oh, shut it, Ron," Ginny said, smacking his arm playfully. "This is amazing news! How's Draco taking it?"

"He doesn't know yet," Hermione admitted. "I wanted to tell you all first."

Ginny grinned. "He's going to be over the moon. And Lyra and Scorpius! They'll be so excited to have a baby sibling."

---
Later that night, after the kids were asleep, Hermione finally had a quiet moment with Draco. They were curled up together in bed, the fire crackling softly in the background.
