Y/N POV
My body had held by the next day which was good because I had class this morning. I ate the soup Todo had given me this morning for breakfast. It was just the thing I needed this morning to give me energy to make it through the day. Now was I ready for Maki’s training after lessons? No but I wasn’t going to skip it either. I also wanted to talk to Maki about her cousin Naoya. It wasn’t clear whether she knew what type of guy her cousin was but I was sure I was going to tell her.
I had gotten to class early, the only other people who were there were Junpei and Arata. Junpei greeted me with a smile as I took my seat beside him. I turned to greet Arata but the male didn’t look up from his book to greet me back. He was one of the Kyoto students. Arata only ever talked when the teacher asked him a question. I had tried to speak to him but he would never spear me a glance.
“How have you been Y/n?” Junpei asked pulling my attention to him
I smiled at him “I’ve been good. How have you been?”
As Junpei spoke I couldn’t help but compare him to an excited puppy. “I’ve been good as well. I used this to go visit my mom. I told her about you and now she is begging me to bring you the next time I visit”
“I would love to visit her” I never meet a friends parent so it would be nice to see what a normal parent acts like
Junpei’s face brighten at my words “awesome”
“Hey bitches” Nobara shouted as she entered the room. Megumi and Yuji followed behind her. My gut tightened when I saw Yuji but I try to not show my anxiety. Yuji’s brown eyes landed and his face busted into a smile. He took his seat that was directly behind me but he leaned forward so he could place head onto my shoulder. I flinched slightly as he touched me.
“I missed you this weekend Y/n-” Yuji said as his breath tickled the side of my neck “-I went to your room multiple times the weekend but you were home”
“Sorry Yuji my Aunt need my help moving some boxes so I was busy this weekend” I lied as I didn’t want him to now about the dates I went on
“Well maybe we can hangout this weekend” Yuji said as he leaned back in his seat giving me the much need space I needed
I didn’t have to reject him as Nobara jumped in to say “You dumbass we have the party her Aunt is throwing this weekend”
“Oh you’re right” Yuji agreed
“What party” I asked
Nobara looked panicked “Oh fuck-”
“It is supposed to be a surprise you idiots” Megumi scolded the loud mouth girl
I was very confused as my Aunt has never thrown me a party before “My birthday was over a month ago so why is she throwing me a party?”
Nobara just shrugged her shoulders “I have no clue. We all just got invitations in the mail telling us it was a surprise party in your honor. Also it told us that it was a white collar event”
