We'd been walking around for maybe another hour by now, and we were both getting tired and bored, despite finding many ways to keep us entertained while walking. 

"Hey Miku... I'm starting to wonder if there's even is a way out, or anything around here to be honest." I slowly come to a stop and sit down on the seemingly fake grass.

She paused, smile fading for a split second, but quickly regained energy. "We'll be fine! And plus, we already found so many other people! I'm sure we'll find more eventually, and maybe one of them will help us get out."

I continued to look down on the bright green grass, taking in her words. It was hard to believe that when you've been walking around for hours and the only people you've met on the way were all mysterious and cryptic.

I hear a ruffling sound next to me, and I find Miku sitting down next to me. "We'll get out eventually. We can rest first, but we shouldn't give up."

I sigh and lean back, gazing at the sky and its cartoon-looking clouds. "Sure... A little rest won't hurt."

Us Vocaloids are technically just a figment of the digital world, so we wouldn't exactly ever get physically tired, but we'd still get slowed down to a point, or get mentally exhausted.

We both sit there in silence, while I gaze up at the sky and the fast-moving clouds and Miku picks at the grass below. It felt eerily relaxing, like a feeling that I could just stay here forever, but there was also this other feeling deep inside that made me feel like we can't, even if we did choose to stay.

"I'm sorry."

"What...?" I look at Miku, her head still lowered and her smile weak.

"It was my fault, right...? I touched the weird sparkly circle thing when you told me not to." She looked back up and looked into my eyes.

I shook my head. "No, it's not. Things were weird before that anyway. I don't think it's normal not to pick up any signals or connections, and when things aren't normal, no one knows what's going to happen next."

Miku sighed and looked away, her pigtails almost smacking me in the face. "But you told me not to, and I got too excited, and touched it anyway."

I move a little closer to her and put a hand on her shoulder. "It's fine, okay? Like you said, we'll get out eventually."

When Miku didn't seem too convinced, I decided to continue talking. "We're Vocaloids, surely nothing too bad would happen. Hey, someone might even summon us back."

Miku flopped back down onto the grass. "Maybe..."

I laughed and flopped back down with her. "Let's just focus on the present for now. We'll get out eventually."

Miku nodded, and we stayed lying down for a while, gazing at the sky above. The slight breeze going through our hair was also really comfortable.

"Wait!" Miku suddenly exclaimed, sitting right back up. I sit back up in shock too, and look at her. "What now?"

"Remember Neru? She said she met an orange one too! Maybe we can go find them too!" Miku sits up fully straight, hands in the air.

I stare at her for a bit, while I try to remember what Neru said. "Well, yeah..." I paused.

"Didn't Neru also say that one seemed a little empty though?" I said nervously. "If the Rin and Len back there weren't considered 'empty', then the orange one, whoever that is, is probably even worse."

Miku pauses, but a determined look crosses her face. "Isn't it worth a shot though? We're gonna need all the help we can get, and the only way we can do that so far is by talking to people and getting information."

"I mean you have a point," I mumble. "So you wanna head off now or...?"

Miku smiles sheepishly and says, "Maybe just a bit more rest...?"

I laugh, and she laughs too. "Sure, I'll wait for you."
