HER SAVIOUR

CHAPTER 17

ESHA'S POV

'' She is coming back.'' We said together.

We looked at each other with excitement, happiness and shock on our faces. '' I can't believe it. '' Yash said looking at me and Sneha while we both just nodding at him. Coming out of shock we all hugged each other laughing anddecided to call her and started making plans with her. After sometime we head back to our work.

Reaching home, I was in the kitchen with other ladies helping them in preparing dinner.

'' You look happy. '' my mother in law said smiling at me. I looked at her and smiled nodding my head.

'' What happened? '' she asked.

'' One of my friend is coming to India. '' I told her smiling happily.

'' Then you must be excited to meet her. I can see it on your face. '' she said stirring a pot.

Soon after dinner is done, I went to our bedroom got fresh and started doing some of my office work.

'' Good evening. '' Abhimaan said entering. I returned greeting smiling athim. After getting fresh he came and sat beside me on the couch. I can feel him staring at me. I looked at him from the side of my eye smiling.

'' Stop giving me side eye Esha. '' he said still smiling. Finally I looked up from my laptop and he is still smiling and staring at me.

'' What? '' I asked closing my laptop and turning towards my smiling husband who is now shaking his head at me.

'' A little birdie told me that my wife glowing with happiness today. '' he said looking here and there flapping his hands imitating the little birdie and now looking at me still smiling and flapping his hands. Without breaking eye contact I gave him deadpan look and he just shook his head nodding cutely. I can feel smile and blush coming on my face. '' So '' he said taking my hands into his.

'' A friend of mine is coming to India after two years. I am so excited to meet her after so long. '' I told him happily with a big smile.

'' You are literally shaking , you must be very close to her. '' he said imitating my smile.

I nodded smiling big. '' Come on give me a big tight hug and share your energy with me.'' he said grinning opening his big arms for me and next thing I know I am in his arms hugging him tightly. Being around him and now in his arms I feel secured. He such a big teddy bear but I am not going to tell him this, it's so embarrassing that I think of him as a teddy bear.

'' I am contented to see you happy. '' he said in my ear pulling me even closer than before. I nodded my head in his neck tightening my arms around his neck. I am almost in his lap by now but I don't care I want this. I want his warmth and somewhere deep down I know I want him too. No one has ever treated me the way he does and I know I like that no matter how much I deny it my heart knows this.

Slowly pulling back he tucked my hair leaning in with one hand he cupped my left cheek with his big palm and circled around my waist causing shiver down my spine. He started leaning in making our noses touch each other's, one movement and our lips will touch. When I looked into his eyes, i saw something I never thought I would see or feel what love is. I can see it, his eyes filled with love, for me? We were about to close the distance, when we heard knock on our bedroom door which startled us and he got up to open the door, while I tried to look presentable. It was one of the staff, came to ask us to come for dinner.

After dinner I came in my room while he went in his study. I completed my office work, decided to go to bed. It's been an hour and here I am tossing and turning trying to sleep. I turned to my left seeing the empty space, I decided it's enough. Entering in his study seeing him working on his laptop all serious made all my confidence flatter. He looked up from the screen and smiled up at me.

'' You didn't sleep yet? '' he said while taking his glasses off and I just shook my head.

'' Why. '' he asked.

Now I just need to muster all my courage and say it. '' Aap nahi aarahe sone, I mean kafi late ho raha hai . '' I said trying not to sound too desperate.

When he didn't answer I took that as a sign and started moving back towards the door. I looked up when I heard him say '' Actually you're right it's getting late we should sleep. ''

I gave him big smile nodding my head up and down. He closed his laptop and came towards me, taking my hand in his started going towards our room. We layed in bed as pulls me in his arms covering us with duvet. Whenever we sleep and he takes me in his arms, he provides me so such comfort and warmth which he doesn't even know about. He just makes me want to curl in a small ball and hide in his arms.

He feels like home.

He smells like home.

He is my home.
