Night of September 10, 1875
For the rest of the day I watched her adapt to the new environment. It was easy to tell that she was out of place and needed comfort. I wanted to be her comfort. She needed me as her comfort. With that thought I continued to watch her a smile gracing my face as I watched her explore with great curiosity. She was just so lively and energetic that made my heart warm. She was just so perfect. When night came I waited in the shadows as she prayed to her father and tucked her self in. But once she was tucked in she started to quietly weep "Oh father how I miss you." I remember her saying and in that moment I needed to comfort her. "There is no need to cry child... Your Angel of Music is here" I said to her from the shadows. She looked up and looked around the room "Did my father send you?!" She said a smile waiting to break through. "Your father had sent me to you. Now that I am here you will no longer be alone. I will give you guidance that he asked me to do" I said and a smile broke free "Father said my Angel will sing me to sleep just like he.." She whispered "your Angel of Music will sing for you" I whispered before beginning to sing
"Well I heard there was a secret chord
That David played and it pleased the Lord
But you don't really care for music, do you?
Well it goes like this:
The fourth, the fifth, the minor fall and the major lift
The baffled king composing HallelujahHallelujah, Hallelujah, Hallelujah, Hallelujah...
Well your faith was strong but you needed proof
You saw her bathing on the roof
Her beauty and the moonlight overthrew ya
She tied you to her kitchen chair
She broke your throne and she cut your hair
And from your lips she drew the HallelujahHallelujah, Hallelujah, Hallelujah, Hallelujah...
Baby I've been here before
I've seen this room and I've walked this floor (you know)
I used to live alone before I knew ya
And I've seen your flag on the marble arch
And love is not a victory march
It's a cold and it's a broken HallelujahHallelujah, Hallelujah, Hallelujah, Hallelujah...
There was a time when you let me know
What's really going on below
But now you never show that to me, do ya?
But remember when I moved in you
And the holy dove was moving too
And every breath we drew was HallelujahHallelujah, Hallelujah, Hallelujah, Hallelujah...
Maybe there's a God above
But all I've ever learned from love
Was how to shoot somebody who outdrew ya
And it's not a cry that you hear at night
It's not somebody who's seen the light
It's a cold and it's a broken HallelujahHallelujah, hallelujah, hallelujah, hallelujah...
Hallelujah, hallelujah, hallelujah, hallelujah...
Hallelujah, hallelujah, hallelujah
Hallelujah, hallelujah"I remember watching her as she fell asleep with a smile on her face. Her smile put a smile on my face. And with that I faded into darkness
{so sorry guys but I had terrible writers block. I hope you guys enjoyed}
