P.T.
Coughing and cursing, we stepped out of the chimney hand in hand, surrounded by a cloud of smoke and ash.
„Tough journey?" a middle-aged wizard asked from his place at the bar. Luckily, him and the host were the only people here right now, at the Leaky Cauldron.
Shaking out my hair and wiping off my face, I managed a friendly smile. ,,As tough as it comes."
Mattheo was still coughing, his black suit now grey.
,,Better get a cleaning spell over that quickly." the host chuckled, leaning forward on the bar. ,,You don't look like you'd mind a meal and drink, do you?"
,,Starving, actually." I admitted, pulling out my wand before turning to face Mattheo. ,,Will you stop coughing already?"
,,I would if I could, woman!" he gave back, before another cough shook his body.
„Oh, darling... You look hilarious." I couldn't help but laugh, quickly sweeping a quick cleaning spell over my appearance, before dusting off his clothes as well.
„Take a seat, children!" the host called out, beckoning us over to one of the empty tables. „We have a delicious stew today, and a nice butter beer to calm you down after that rough landing."
With a relieved smile and thankful nod, I flopped down on one of the chairs, somehow sorting out my messed up hair. Well, to be fair, Mattheo looked even worse. Chuckling in amusement at his disgusted face, I tried to brush most of the dust and ash out of his hair and gently brushed my thumbs over his face.
„Look at you, all rugged and handsome." I teased, pulling my hand away just in time before he could grab it.
„Shut your mouth, and just eat." he muttered as the host placed to steaming bowls and two beers on the table in front of us.
I did as told and picked up my spoon, occasionally having to bite back a giggle when he started coughing again.
„Hogwarts, eh?" the lonely man at the bar suddenly spoke up, nodding towards Mattheo's green tie.
When we nodded, he started smiling. „Bloody hell, I remember my years at that school as if it was yesterday!"
„You went to Hogwarts too?" I asked, before taking another bite. „Which house were you in?"
„Oh, I was a Gryffindor." the man chuckled. „Just like the whole rest of my family."
Mattheo and I exchanged a quick glance.
,,Bill! Leave the poor children alone!" the host chuckled. ,,They're on holiday after all."
,,Oh, no, that's alright." I managed another friendly smile. Gryffindor didn't always equal bullshit. ,,Who was your favourite teacher, at Hogwarts, if I may ask?"
Taking the next sip of my butter beer, I watched the man think for a moment.
,,Probably Madam Hooch." he finally said. I nodded. Fair choice. ,,Well, at least until she started to mix up me and my brothers, and started calling me Charlie or Percy..." he chuckled. ,,But hey, I guess that's just what you get, if your last name's Weasley. We always get mixed up."
The dots in my head started connecting rapidly. ,,You... you're Ronald's and Ginny's brother?" I asked in disbelieve. ,,As in, Fred and George's brother?"
The man's smile grew even wider as he nodded. ,,Bill Weasley, yes. You know my youngest siblings, I suppose?"
,,We do indeed." Mattheo muttered coldly, glaring at him darkly.
