"Um, sorry to do this but I've got royal homework to do." Moonlight admitted as soon as they arrived at their destination.
"That's ok, Moonlight." Twinkle assured. "We'll be fine."
"Alright." Moonlight said with a smile as she went inside the castle.
Twinkle led Frost to castle's backyard. They looked around until they saw Solar, chilling on a lounge chair, drink in hand and sunglasses over his eyes. Twinkle and Frost walked over to him.
"Hey, guys." Solar said without turning to them as he took a sip of his drink.
"Solar, I got a letter from Midnight saying that you were chased by a dangerous person." Twinkle explained. "Who are they?"
"His name is Dagger Fang." Solar replied as he set his drink, got off the lounge chair and strode over to the pool. He stared down at the water as he spoke. "He's a vampire."
"Solar, there's no such thing." Twinkle corrected.
"Heh, said the human that's half merperson." Solar commented.
"Fair enough." Twinkle said.
"I have a question." Frost piped up as Solar turned to him. "What's a vampire?"
"Vampires are a subspecies of humans, kinda like merpeople." Solar replied. "They even have two forms, like you guys."
"Human and nonhuman?" Twinkle asked, curiously.
Solar nodded. "Only their change is less of such."
"In what way?" Frost asked.
"Their eyes turn red and sharp fangs appear in their mouths." Solar explained in reply. "Dagger in particular, wants to infect me."
"Infect you, but why?" Twinkle asked, nervously.
Solar shrugged. "Not sure. All he said is he wants to make me like him."
"Weird." Frost commented.
"It's not that I don't love seeing you, my darling Twinkle but um, is there a reason you guys are here?" Solar asked in confusion.
"As much as I also love seeing you, Solar. That's not why we're here." Twinkle admitted in reply. "Do you remember the M.K.S.G?"
Solar nodded. "Sure do. Me and Ruby absolutely crushed it."
"Focus, Solar." Twinkle said.
"I am." Solar exclaimed as he threw his arms out in front of himself. He thought for a moment. "Wait, are you talking about Crystal Prep's team from that?"
