After a short walk of the stairs and down a hall, Coral arrived at her and brother's destination. She looked around for him and saw him standing in front of a bookshelf.
"Frost, get away from that." Coral exclaimed in a whisper.
Frost turned to her and shrugged. "Why? It's just a bookshelf."
"Believe me, it's not." Coral assured. "Just come here, please."
"Alright. I'm coming." Frost said as he walked over to her.
Suddenly, they heard a door open. "Coral, who's this and what're you doing?" a girl asked from her bedroom doorway.
Frost and Coral turned toward her.
"Twinkle, hello." Coral said. She gestured to Frost. "This is my brother, Frost Ice."
"Nice to finally meet you." Twinkle said. "I'm Twinkle Song."
Frost looked at Twinkle's necklace. "Coral was right. She does live with hybrids."
"Um, yes." Twinkle confirmed. "Why were you near the bookshelf?"
"How'd you know bout that?" Coral asked in confusion.
"I uh, heard you tell him to get away from it." Twinkle replied. She cleared her throat. "Anyway, he needs to answer my question."
"I was curious as to why it's just in the hallway." Frost admitted.
"Cause my twin isn't normal." Twinkle deadpanned.
"What about me?" a girl said as she appeared behind Twinkle.
"Speak of Shimmer and she appears." Twinkle commented. "Also, sis all I said was you're not normal."
"Oh. That's fine, then." Shimmer replied with smile. She noticed Frost and approached. "Who're you?"
Frost turned around and gasped. He then swallowed hard. "Um, I'm Frost Ice, Coral's brother."
"Pleasure to finally meet ya." Shimmer replied. "My name is Shimmer Song. I'm a party planner and your sister's bestie."
"I see." Frost assured.
"Ooh, you should totally introduce him to Maestro." Shimmer suggested.
