???'s POV:
"Have you heard, the King of the Beasts was once revered as an ancient hero? They say that he brought a golden age of peace and prosperity to his old kingdom, before this one.", I heard them say. It is clear that they are talking about the Beast King. They are right however, I have once brought a golden age of peace and prosperity to that old kingdom of mine before it got swept away by that beast. No matter, I lost that place a long time ago, and now I must protect the kingdom I have now, with or without my soul jam.
Third Person POV:
As many people began to spread rumors about the Beast King, a stranger wearing a black cloak around him, was mumbling something under his breath, speaking in a language they didn't understand. Just before they went to ask him about what language he was speaking in, a black dragon appeared and was preparing a strong attack against them. The stranger said nothing and walked close to the dragon, which didn't attack him at all, and once again spoke to it in the language, which is dragontongue, he mumbled before, "Fatalis, finish them off, I do not wish for you to be hunted down by them.", he spoke to the black dragon. It seemed to smile as if it will happily oblige what the stranger said and fired its attack at the village and the kingdom, including its inhabitants. The stranger removed his cloak, revealing himself to be the Beast King himself, Aryeh Myrtle Cookie, or formerly known by his old friends as Dark Cacao Cookie, as he quietly closed his eyes and turned away from what remained of that place. "We must go now, before we attract any unnecessary attention.", he spoke to Fatalis. The dragon nodded and gently knelt down its head so its master could get on it, and just like that, it flew with him, away from the ruined place and back to the kingdom. "Never again will I lose everything I held dear.", Aryeh Myrtle Cookie spoke quietly.
