It's always exciting to see where the story kicks off, right? Tho I have to admit, it's not my best chapter. I feel like I got more confident later on, and I think the story has a bit of a slow start. Thank you for making it through that. 😊Least Liked Chapters:
Chapter Twenty-Three: Everything at Once
Chapter Forty-Three: The Competition

💜 Light Purple (13-18): 21%
💚 Green (18-25): 53%
❤️ Red (25-35): 8%
💙 Light Blue (35-45): 2%
💗 Pink (Over 45): 3%
🧡 Orange (Private): 13%As you can see, most of you are between 18 and 25 years old, which is perfect because that's exactly the age group this story was intended for—aka the one I selected when I started publishing it. If you're older or younger, you are of course still very welcome here. I'm so happy to have you all! 😊
💗 Pink (Female): 48%
💚Green (Male): 35%
💜Dark Purple (Private): 17%I'm not surprised that most of you—nearly half, even—are female. This is a love story, after all. But hey, shoutout to the guys for sticking around! Love stories are for everyone, and who doesn't enjoy a little romance and drama now and then?
Now, where on the globe are you guys located? Let's take a look:
The darker an area on the map is, the more of you are there. White means I don't have a reader from that country yet—but maybe in the future, they'll turn into a nice shade of blue as well! Did you find yourself on the map? I wonder who among you matches which area. I do have a bit of an idea, though, since some of you read my stories in the middle of the night for me, while others seem to be in my own time zone.
In this story, you meet a handful of my original characters. I know that Maria and Vire are loved by some of you, and honestly, I love them too!
Fun Fact: I was actually planning to kill off Vire. The only reason I didn't was because someone very close to me said, "Man, this Vire guy is really cool—it would be sick to see more of him." As soon as I heard those words, I just didn't have the heart to go through with it. That's how he ended up becoming a member of the team! You meet Vire for the first time in Chapter Fifteen: A Turn of Events, where he was introduced with his full name, Marcellus Vire.
You actually meet Maria a fair bit earlier, even though she didn't have a name yet at the time. It was in Chapter Ten: Clorinde's Resurgence and Mentorship. Here's the little scene where she makes her first appearance:
Wriothesley made his way to the Pankration ring, curious to see Clorinde in action. As he approached, he was surprised to find a sizable crowd already gathered, all intently watching the match. It was unusual for Wriothesley to struggle to get to the front—his presence usually commanded immediate attention—but today, the crowd was too focused on the ring to notice him.
As he finally reached the front, he heard the distinct sound of someone hitting the ground. He looked just in time to see Clorinde helping a woman to her feet. The woman seemed frustrated, but Clorinde's calm, reassuring voice cut through the tension.
"You did well," Clorinde said, her tone encouraging. "Your stance was far more stable compared to last time. Keep it up."
A smile spread across the woman's face as she left the ring, her confidence visibly restored...
I'm so curious—who's your favorite character? Is it Clorinde? Wriothesley? Sigewinne? Or maybe Maria or Vire? Or is it someone who wasn't in the story for long enough? Perhaps Itto, who really pushed our duo to their limits? Or maybe Noelle, who's so much stronger than she looks?
I've been writing this story for quite a while. I published the first chapter on 8/8/2024, and some of you have been with me since then. As I'm writing this, it's 21/11/2024 at 4 a.m., and I just finished writing the last chapter and the epilogue. Funny enough, the story started on a Thursday and ends on one as well. I truly hope you had as much fun reading this story as I had writing it. 💕
If you have any questions about this story—anything you feel wasn't explained enough or things you'd like to know—leave a comment! I'll answer all your questions about this story. One of you asked if I could write a NeuviFuri fanfiction, and I'd love to give it a try. What other ships do you guys love? I already have some ideas for more Wriorinde fanfiction (yup, 58 chapters written, and I'm still not tired of this pairing—I just love it too much!).
It has been my honor to share such beautiful interactions with all of you, to write jokes, and to craft a slow burn that should honestly be called sloooooooooooooooooooowburn. 😂🔥
I wish you all the best in life, and I hope you always keep the enthusiasm for your passions and gaming!❤️
