HWARAN'S POINT OF VIEW
I opened my eyes in a place that was unknown... I don't know anymore... the memories of taht event was repeating in my head, I felt my tears fell down my face as I called out the name of the dead that will never come back and also the name of the person I cherished the most....
"Mother..."
I mumbled and a petite young woman with long, dark brown hair, parted in the center and worn braided back into a large, low bun, which is held in place by a floral tama-kanzashi hairpin. She has large, gentle eyes that do not possess pupils, only a haze of lavender that fades to dark purple the higher it goes, and notably red lips in contrast to her pale complexion. She's pretty, but she's not my mother.
"You're awake... how are you feeling?" The woman asks as I sit. "Mom... where is my mother?" I ask even though I already know she won't be coming back... "We... don't know... I just found you on a rivers side..." She said gently, and I nodded. "What is your name?" She asks.
"Hwaran..." I respond as I saw the boy next to her, he was a bit taller(?) than the lady. "You can call me lady Tamayo, and this man here is my companion. His name is Yushiro." She said, and I looked at the boy who was glaring secretly at me.
"Yeah... thank you for saving me, Lady Tamayo." I said as I smiled at her before it disappeared. "I am waiting for you to wake up... I will now do some blood tests on you, if I may?"
She asked as she extended her hand, which I accepted, and she did what she was going to do. In the meantime, I was recovering, but it seems that I have already recovered, and that made me wonder.
"Exuse me, Yushiro-san... how long was I out?" I asked him and her turn to me and a bit of silence. "Two days." He said before following Lady Tamayo. "That's strange... I was sure I hit my head on a rock, so why can't I feel any wound or any stinging pain?" I ask myself as I look at my hand where the lady extracted my blood and my eyes widen.
It was healed already, like it wasn't really there. A moment later, I snap out of it and get off the bed. I exited the room where Yushiro-san was already there. "..." He stared at me without saying anything. "Where is Lady Tamayo? I want to ask her about something..." I said as I met his gaze that was a bit... intimidating?
"Oh, there you are, Hwaran-chan. You must be hungry, why don't you eat?" The lady said as she emerged from a room, and I nodded. "..." I followed her quietly to a kitchen and ate the food that they served me. After I was done, I went back to where I am currently staying in and went to the window to look around their place. It was nighttime...
"Father... who are you... why can't you go out of the sun and... why did you kill Mother... and why... do you look so inhumane that night?" I ask myself... I was angry, angry for not being able to take my mother with me...
My father is clearly strong enough that a normal human won't be able to beat him... I need to get stronger... stronger than him... "I promise to give you the justice you deserve... Okasan... (Mother), " I whispered before closing my window and leaving the room in seek of the lady... I am looking for her because I know that she knows something... maybe she can help me.
Thankfully, I found her room, the room where she does what she needs. I knock on the door three times. "Lady Tamayo...? This is Hwaran..." I said, and there was a moment of silence before she responded with her gentle voice.
