Aimee's POV

(((((((NOT EDITED!))))))))

What has felt like endless hours of pouring coffees, has only been 20 minutes.

I push my glasses further up my nose and look up at the woman in front of me. I smile and ask her what she would like to order.

She simply responds back with an order of a caramel frappuccino. I type her order into the screen in front of my and she pays on the spot. I quickly turn around and make the order and give it to the woman standing off by the side of the register. She thanks me and walks out the door.

My shift ends in five more hours, which isn't that bad because today has only been a slow day. Thank God!

Except for this morning, oh gosh I don't even what to bring up this morning.

Adam isn't in his right sense of mind. I mean for fucks sake he shouldn't be whining over the fact that I can see him, even though he's a ghost. And if he wanted to start questioning the facts, why didn't he do that about two weeks ago.

I mean to me, it doesn't make any sense. Why is he mad that I can see him, right now? Why is he just bringing the matter up now?

I just don't understand guys, they're always so difficult.

"Hey, are you going to take my order?" This guy asks rudely. He has brown, almost black looking hair and hazel eyes. He looked to be in his twenties.

"Yeah, sorry." I apologize.

"You do have sandwiches here right?" He asks, looking up at the menu, up on the wall behind me.

"As you can see," I snap at him. He's looking straight at them.

"Very well. I'll have a green tea with a turkey sandwich." He tells me, whilst reaching into his back pocket to get his wallet.

"Okay,,," I roll my eyes, while looking down at the screen, "will that be for here or to go?"

He thinks for a moment, "For here." The guy hands me his money and I ring up his change and hand it to him.

I go over to the tea container and pour a medium cup of green tea and give it to the guy. "Your sandwich will be out in a few."

He nods and goes over to one of the booths and sits down. I go into the back where Derek, my manager and Melody, my best friend (also an employee here) are working.

"Turkey sandwich is almost done," Derek says looking over at me.

"Thanks," I say. I make my way over to Melody, who is completely invested on her phone.

"Hey," I bump her with my shoulder. She takes her eyes away from the phone and smiles at me.

"Hey, do you remember that guy that I mentioned to you the other day?" She puts her phone down on the counter and turns to me.

"Yeah. The one with black hair, blue eyes. Totally couldn't forget that guy's face." My voice full of lust. To be honest, the guy was a hot catch.

"Well, he came by yesterday and well, uh he asked me for my number!" She practically squeals the last part.

"Woah woah woah hold up. He just asked you for your number, and you gave it to him. Mel, you don't even know the guy's-" she cut me off, waving her hand over my mouth.

"The guy's name is Axel, and he's actually 18. I also found out a few things about him so ha, you can't say anything now." She rubs in my face, with a devious smile. After a moment we start to laugh.
