I lazily open my eyes to the bright light coming into my room from the window, I tilt my head to the left and see a bunch of tissues all around my floor. Then I remember about my first date was ruined by meeting Daniel at the restaurant, meeting him again reminded me of the time I was dating him.
My phone went off on my side table so I reached back and read the text that said...

Get your lazy butt up!! Come on lets go to the mall remember we have prom in 2 weeks. I'll pick you up in 30 be ready!!
Reading that message made me jump out of bed and to my closet picking out a fast little outfit, after I put my clothes on then went to my bathroom to start putting on my make-up and straighten my hair. "Hey mom I'm going to go to the mall with Phoebe okay in thirty minutes okay." I yell down from my bathroom.
"Alright just be home before dinner at least, I don't care if you have lunch out." My mother yelled back.
"I will." I say softer than grab a small purse and run down the stairs to meet Phoebe outside of my house.
