YASH'S POV

The lobby was quiet except for the occasional clink of glasses from the bar nearby. The cool evening air touched my skin as I checked my watch—8:00 PM sharp. My phone felt heavier in my hand as I dialed Avni's number. The call connected immediately.

Avni (cheerfully, her voice full of energy): "Hey, Yash!"

Me (trying to sound casual): "Hi, Avni. I'm here. Come down."

There was a brief pause, enough to make me wonder if she was hesitating.

Avni (softly, but firm): "Yash, it's taking a little more time. Why don't you come up to my room?"

I glanced around the lobby, my instincts telling me not to agree. I chose my words carefully.

Me (politely refusing): "It's okay, Avni. I'll wait here."

Avni (insistent, her tone soft but persuasive): "I'd feel guilty if you waited down there. And honestly, it wouldn't look good if someone sees you waiting outside."

Her words left little room for argument. Reluctantly, I gave in.

Me (briefly): "Okay."

I ended the call and spoke through the earpiece

Me "Avni called me to her room."

Vihaan: "We'll be hearing everything. Make sure she doesn't suspect anything. If things don't go as planned, use PLAN B."

The mention of PLAN B tightened something in my chest. It was a backup strategy only Vihaan and I knew. Even Jivika wasn't aware of its specifics. I replied quickly:

Me: "Okay."

I sighed, gathering my composure as I headed toward the elevator.

@ Room 1203

The elevator ride felt unnervingly long, each passing floor making my unease grow. Finally, I reached the twelfth floor. Walking down the hallway, I stopped in front of room 1203. I exhaled deeply and rang the bell.

After a few moments, the door opened, revealing Avni. She stood in a long white robe, her hair loosely falling around her shoulders.

Me (frowning slightly): "You haven't gotten ready, Avni?"

Avni (smiling softly): "Just a few more minutes. That's it. Please, come inside."

She closed the door as I stepped in. My eyes widened as I took in the sight before me. The room was decorated with rose petals, candles flickering warmly, and an unmistakable scent of fresh flowers filling the air. I turned to Avni, suppressing my growing anger.

Me (serious, trying to keep my tone calm): "What's this, Avni?"

Avni (playfully, tilting her head): "You don't like it, Yash?"

Before I could respond, she let her robe fall to the ground. Underneath, she wore a sheer, see-through dress with a small robe barely hanging on her shoulders. I stepped back, anger rising.
