I woke up feeling an excited buzz in my chest—it was finally our day out. I stretched lazily, letting the soft morning sunlight filter through the curtains. Glancing around the room, I realized Shivarth wasn’t here. Probably in the gym, I thought with a smile. He was nothing if not consistent.

Shrugging it off, I grabbed my towel and headed to the washroom. The warm water felt wonderful, washing away any lingering sleepiness. I found myself humming softly, the excitement of the day already building up in my heart.

After about 30 minutes, I stepped out, feeling refreshed and ready to start the day. I chose a simple white dress that always made me feel good—light, elegant, and perfect for the occasion. Sitting in front of the mirror, I carefully started applying my makeup, focusing on every little detail.

Just as I was finishing my mascara, I heard the door creak open. Turning my head, I froze. Shivarth was standing there, looking effortlessly handsome as always, but it wasn’t just his presence that startled me. In his hands, he held a beautiful bouquet of vibrant flowers and a steaming cup of coffee.

“Good morning,” he said softly, his voice warmer than usual as he walked over to me.

I blinked, completely caught off guard. “G-good morning,” I stammered, watching as he placed the bouquet on the table and handed me the coffee.

“I thought this might make your morning a little brighter,” he said, his tone gentle, almost hesitant.

My heart melted on the spot. I took the coffee, the warmth of the mug spreading through my fingers. “Thank you… this is so thoughtful of you.”

He smiled—a soft, genuine smile that I didn’t see often—and it made my heart skip a beat. “It’s no big deal,” he said, rubbing the back of his neck awkwardly. “I just… thought you’d like it.”

“I do,” I said quickly, feeling a blush creep up my cheeks. “The coffee’s perfect. And the flowers…” I glanced at the bouquet, my chest feeling lighter. “They’re beautiful.”

“I’m glad you like them,” he said, his gaze meeting mine for a moment before he looked away. “You look… really nice in white.”

His unexpected compliment made my cheeks heat up even more. I looked down, pretending to focus on my coffee. “Thank you,” I murmured.

“Take your time,” he said softly, his tone so kind it almost didn’t feel real. “I’ll wait downstairs. Just… don’t keep me waiting too long, okay?”

I nodded, unable to stop the shy smile spreading across my face as he walked out of the room. As soon as the door closed, I looked at the bouquet again, my heart fluttering. When did Shivarth become so… sweet? Whatever the reason, I couldn’t deny that this day was already off to a perfect start.

As Shivarth turned to leave, I gasped, realization hitting me like a thunderbolt. "Wait, Shivarth!" I called out.

He stopped mid-step, turning around with a curious yet slightly annoyed expression. "What now?" he asked, his tone teasing.

I hurried over to him, grabbing his wrist. "We were supposed to twin "

He blinked at me, clearly amused. "And?"

"And you’re not wearing the right outfit! You can’t ruin the plan like this," I huffed, tugging him toward his wardrobe without waiting for his approval.

"Anaya," he began, chuckling softly, "Are you always this bossy, or is it just me who gets this special treatment?"

"Special treatment? Oh, please. You should be thanking me for saving you from fashion disaster," I shot back, flinging open his wardrobe doors.
