The next class was gym, and Román knew they had to play volleyball this time. He never liked sports, nor did he know how to play volleyball."Attention!! Okay, we're gonna practice passes in pairs. Ill choose who gets to pick."
Everybody stood in a line, waiting for their turn. Román saw a few of his classmates get picked, but one of them stood out. Nico.
"Okay, pick your partner!"
Román was praying not to be chosen by Nicolás. Its not like he was gonna try anyway. He saw his classmates get picked off one by one, eventually leaving Román alone for Nicolás to choose.
*Oh god.*
Nicolás walked over to him and shook his shoulder, a grin plastered on his face.
"Huh! You and me again eh? More bonding time"
Román gave a nervous chuckle, but his flush returned to his face.
They proceeded to get the ball from the teacher, and as they "played", Nico realised that Román didn't know how to.
"Hey man, you need me to teach you how to play?"
Román scoffed.
"I think i dont need help with throwing a ball to you."
"Nono, its just– your not passing correctly. C'mon, ill show you."
Román looked at Nico's hands as they folded, though when he tried it, it didn't go well.
"Here– just give me your hands."
Nicolás took Román's hands and positioned them correctly. Though Román was getting more flustered at every touch on his hands. He decided to hide it by looking anywhere that isnt Nicolás' direction.
"See? Now it just needs to land right here."
He put his finger on where he would hit the ball.
"Okay– I-I think i got it now." Román stammered, still trying to calm down in this case.
It wasnt easy to hide a secret for so long. Especially if you're constantly with that person the secret's about. Román was thinking about the kiss since last class, and still is. He would've told him, so then Nico would understand why he's acting weird. But at the same time, he can't. Though it aches to keep it for longer.
*When will it be gone?*
