                        VENUS' POV

I woke up to my alarm blaring, my body heavy and my mind racing. Yesterday's events felt like a nightmare, but the message from Fenix—telling me to meet him today—was all too real. I stared at the ceiling for a moment, dreading the day ahead.

I dragged myself out of bed and into the bathroom, hoping a shower would wake me up. The cold water didn’t do much for the knots in my stomach, but I couldn’t afford to let my nerves control me.

I threw on my outfit. A casual dress. Perfect..I guess....My fingers trembled as I brushed my hair, glancing at myself in the mirror. Who was I kidding? I was about to meet the man who owned my future.

I glanced at the clock and sighed. No time to think. I grabbed my bag and headed out.

I wasn’t ready for this, but I didn’t have a choice. I just had to get through today.

I sat back in my chair, eyes fixed on the door. The place was quiet, almost too quiet, but I didn't care. Time had no hold on me. She’d come. I knew she would.

"She thinks she can just walk away from me. She has no idea who she’s dealing with."

I could almost hear the sound of her footsteps in my head, imagining the way she’d walk in, hesitant but trying to act like she wasn’t. I smirked. She couldn’t hide that fear, no matter how hard she tried.

I ran my fingers over the edge of my glass, the cool surface doing little to calm the fire that burned beneath my skin. I wasn’t in a hurry, though. No, I was enjoying this. Watching her slowly realize how little control she had in this situation.

The door opened. There she was.

"Right on time." I thought to myself.

My gaze lingered on her as soon as she stepped through the door. She hesitated for a second, scanning the room, probably looking for me. Her eyes met mine, and I could see the tension in her body, the way her posture stiffened. She knew why she was here.

I didn’t break my stare, letting the weight of it settle over her. There was something about the way she tried to stand tall, despite the fear I could see in her eyes, that made me smirk. She’d learn soon enough that no matter how much she resisted, she wouldn’t be able to walk away from this.

I watched as she slowly made her way to the table, every step measured, yet there was a certain vulnerability that she couldn’t hide. And that... I could work with.

I motioned for her to sit, my voice cold, almost distant. "Sit down," I said, my eyes never leaving hers.

She hesitated, but I saw her legs carry her toward the seat. She sat down stiffly, clearly aware of the tension in the air. I leaned forward slightly, my hands clasped together on the table as I studied her.

"You’re probably wondering why I wanted to talk to you, Venus," I said, my voice smooth but laced with something darker. "You’ve been brought into something bigger than yourself. A situation you’re not equipped to handle. But you’ll adapt, just like everyone else does."

I let the silence hang for a moment, watching her carefully. She wasn’t saying anything, but her eyes were filled with questions, confusion, maybe even a bit of fear. Good.

I leaned in closer, my tone shifting, just enough to make it clear that what I was about to say wasn’t a request. "Your father, he made a deal with me. For protection, for money... and that deal includes you. Whether you like it or not, you’re part of this now."

I let that sink in, my gaze never leaving her face. "Soon, you’ll be mine. You don’t have to agree with it, but you’ll learn to accept it."

I leaned back in my chair, my eyes locked on her, studying her every movement. "You know," I said, my voice low and smooth, "your father doesn’t have many options. He made a deal with me to keep you safe. That’s what this is all about. But there’s a condition."

I let the words hang in the air, letting the tension build between us. Her eyes flickered with confusion, and I could see the anger rising in her chest, but I wasn’t in a hurry. I wanted her to feel it. To feel the weight of it all.

I leaned in just enough so she could hear me clearly, my voice cold, but there was a certain edge to it that couldn’t be denied. "The condition? It’s simple. You’ll be mine. No questions, no objections. You’ll learn how to play by my rules, or I’ll make you."

I let that sink in, watching her closely, my lips curling slightly as I saw her trying to process what I was saying. "You’ll live in my world, Venus, whether you like it or not. And if you try to fight it... well, I don’t mind making things harder for you."

I let the words hang in the air, knowing she could feel the weight of them. This wasn’t a negotiation. This was the reality she was about to face.

She swallowed hard, her voice shaky but defiant. "I’m not some piece of property for you to control, Fenix," she said, her eyes burning with anger. "I won’t be anyone’s puppet, especially not yours."

"I know princess, it's hard to digest..but what can I say? It was your fathers decision and the fate that  made you meet me at that alley
Your MINE..only MINE.
