LJ: Mr. Fox, I want you to be honest with me...

Drayton: what's going on?

LJ: the witch doctor who granted me my powers I kidnapped a few days ago, did you have something to do with it?

Drayton: truth? Yes.

LJ: why would you do such a thing?

Drayton: she's safe, I brought her in to work with our research team.

LJ: research team?

Drayton: yes, she has a gift and with her ability, we can change the world LJ.

LJ: her family is worried about her, can you have her reach out to them? Can I see her?

Drayton: of course, I'll have her contact her people but you cannot go see her.

LJ: why not?

Drayton: she's in a classified location LJ, serious stuff, no place for a kid.

LJ: I'm not a kid.

Drayton: I'm old enough to be your father, so you will always be a kid to me.

LJ: I guess... so she's okay?

Drayton: she's absolutely fine LJ, tell your friend he or she has nothing to worry about, and besides I'll have her contact them shorty.

LJ: why didn't you tell me?

Drayton: I just didn't want to compromise the mission.

LJ: okay...

Drayton: yup, no foul it's all good, you trust me?

LJ: ...yeah-yeah, I trust you...

Drayton: good because that's the only way this is going to work, because if you don't trust me, then I can't trust you LJ, and we wouldn't want that now, right?

LJ: no...

Drayton: alright, now get out of here I have a meeting.

LJ: okay cool, I guess I'll catch you tomorrow?

Drayton: I'll keep you posted.

LJ: okay.

[LJ meets up with Zandell]

LJ: I spoke to Drayton and he said he's the one behind the doctor being taken, he said she safe and he offered her a job with the government.

Zandell: really?

LJ: yeah...

Zandell: that's amazing!

LJ: have he's going to have her call her granddaughter.

Zandell: that's great, oh my god I was worried sick.

LJ: yeah, sorry how things transpired, but everything is all good bro.

Zandell: now I can relax my mind LJ.

LJ: yes you can my friend, but I got to head back out.

Zandell: where are you headed to?

LJ: I'll be back.

Zandell: okay my friend.

NEXT DAY

[Drayton puts LJ in an obstacle room where he flourished. Drayton was so impressed, he let LJ take the suit home]

LJ: are you serious?

Drayton: of course I'm serious, with the skills you have displayed I say you are ready my friend.

LJ: wow... I'm officially a superhero...

Drayton: yes, the best ever, the greatest this city will ever see.

LJ: even better than the Zodiac Squad?

Drayton: it takes 12 for the Zodiac Squad to be unstoppable, with you LJ, it only takes you.

LJ: I'm not going to let you or this city down. I'm going to protect and serve, I will defend my city or die trying.

Drayton: and that's the spirit I'm looking for, that's the kind of spirit and promise this city needs, LJ. You see you understand the vision, Gold Warrior was afraid of that vision, and he left us for dead, but you are going to give these people the hope they've lost years ago. New York City will rise above the ashes with the leadership of Cheetah-Borg.

LJ: Cheetah-Borg?

Drayton: you don't like it?

LJ: it's cool, but I feel like if we can come up with something cooler.

Drayton: Cheetah-Man?

LJ: oh hell no! Yeah, Cheetah-Borg it is.

Drayton: alright so it's settled, you don't have to go home, but you have got to get the hell up out of here.

LJ: okay I'm out, night everybody.

Zero: goodnight LJ.
