Conan's POV

-HMM....MMM-

I couldn't really sleep last night, memories from last night came rushing in and I feel so embarrassed right now. I mean at least I stood up for myself, my head is aching but I didn't drink last night, I haven't drank alcohol since my mother died. I'm thinking of visiting Jamie today, I haven't seen her in almost a month. As I exit the bed I notice my phone flooding in with notifications, it was Jamie sending me reels on instagram and just some news feeds.

I wonder what's on the news now, last time I checked there were false kidnapping rumours going around so I'll check after doing my morning routine. I make the bed and open the windows before I walk towards my bathroom, wash my face and brush my teeth before taking a steamy shower. I open the bathroom windows and leave the bathroom. I take a seat on the chair in the bedroom with just my towel around my waist, now I wonder what's on the news.

Not another gangster, I swear there's never peace in this town. I am going to see Jamie today, I check the time and the display reads '6:38AM', wait its actually early. I moisturize my body and just wear a tank top with shorts, I grab August's shoes and exit my room with them. I knock on his door once but there's no answer so I knock twice and then three times but there's no answer so I attempt to open the door and it asks me for the password or fingerprint. I simply enter random numbers and I just put in '0000' and it opens. That's a lame password.

I quietly enter the room and place his shoes on the corner of the room. I stare at the bed and I'm met with the face of a soundly-snoring August. His scars look so hot when he's asleep, I stroke his hair back before smiling. I realise what I'm doing and move back. I notice him moving around so I quickly exit his room in fear, I close the door behind me and go downstairs. It's so quiet, I go to the Kitchen to make breakfast but I find a house cleaner already there cleaning. She looked very old, she should retire by now. August shouldn't be allowing this.
