TWs: Injury, fear, dark hallway, mysterious liquid (idk), blades/grinding machine (grinder), cussing

The deafening wirring of the grinder filled the tediously lit room as Walden stared down into it, blades cutting and chopping at the last handful of failed experiments and colorless subjects, what was left of them trickled down below the blades, while the colors splattered into the sides of the machine, running down and out through pipes, glowing beautifully as if they didn't come from the most horrific thing.

"Is that the last of them?" Waldens voice rang out through the now silent room as the wirring and grinding came to a stop. He never took his eyes off the bloodied blades below...

"Y-Yes sir!" Stuttered a man with curly brown hair, his glasses damn near falling off his face, the left lense cracked right across the center, and a long flowing lab coat not too different from Wally's. "That was the last batch for tonight. W-Would you like me to start on tomorrows?" He asked, hands gripping the clipboard so tight it shook with his trembling hands.

"The fact you feel the need to ask that says quite enough." Wally responded bitterly. "Out of my sight, and if those files aren't filled out by tomorrow, you know the consequences, Suliven." he called after the young man as he frantically scrambled away.

Walden sighed, a gruff growl emitting from his throat. He reached up, gliding his metallic claws through his soft, neatly done up hair. He turned to look around the room, crimson eyes scanning his surroundings before abruptly turning and starting off the platform surrounding the grinder. As he exited the room, the scanner beeped, recognizing his authority, and shutting the door behind him, locking automatically, only to be opened with a key card of certain authorization.

His steps sounded heavy as he walked across the large platforms that winded throughout the factory. As made his way through the labs, he ended up under the main part of the factory. The floor just below- Well, everything. Where the extracted colors all trickled down to in order to create a beautiful rainbow stream of color before inevitability being exported into the serum. He looked around, his eyes lingering on the stream of beautiful colors, though, that seemed to be it.

"There isn't much down here..." He said, speaking merely to himself. He stood for a moment. It wasn't very bright down there. He supposed he'd decided there was no need for many lights in this specific part of the factory. As he looked around the room, his eyes landed on a pitch black hallway.
He cocked his head to the side in confusion. He'd built this place, he'd been working on it since before he graduated college, he knew it top to bottom, he had the blueprint practically engraved into mind by this point, but he'd never seen that hallway before.

With a sudden pang of curiosity and confusion, he started to make his way down the dark hallway. It got to a point where what little light that emitted from the room behind him no longer stretched down the corridor. Wally couldn't see his own hand in front of his face if it was two inches away from him. He stretched his hand out to his right until he hit a wall.

He felt his way down the dark corridor, sliding his hand across the cold metal of the wall until he felt something wet. Something sticky. He froze. He pulled his hand away from the wall to look at the substance on his hand, but of course, saw nothing due to the sheer darkness of his surroundings. He stupidly decided to press on, pushing his hand back into the wall, attempting to ignore how the wet feeling just got worse and worse the deeper he went.

Suddenly he felt his foot slip out from under him. The substance must have seeped onto the floor because whatever he had slipped on felt just like the liquid soaking the walls and his hand. He grunted as he hit the floor, feeling the wet liquid seep into the knees of his pants, splashing onto his clothes as his body came in contact with the ground.

"God damnit...!" He grumbled, "What is this shit?"

He tried to stand, which took him a minute, because every time he'd reach for some sort of texture to grip onto, all he was met with was the disturbing, slippery liquid. He clawed desperately at the walls, trying to get a grip on something. Anything.

"Shit-- Shit!" He choked through laboured grunts and huffs, his attempts at getting his footing fruitless.

He hand stretched upwards, and he felt his claw snag something. A nail.

"Yes-!" He tried to pull himself up, to at least be able to stand, but the nail pulled right out of the wall, stabbing Wally directly into the palm of his hand. "FUCK." he growled, gripping his hand in pain, heaving on the floor. He looked around even though it was pointless, before slamming his foot into the wall and shoving himself backwards, hoping maybe he could push himself far enough out of the sticky liquid to get his footing and get out. He felt a sliver of hope he felt the dry ground beneath him, but as he tried to stand, his shoes, still coated in the liquid, slid across the metal floor once more. This time, he wasn't so lucky. He didn't catch himself.

His head slammed directly onto the metal, sending a sharp bolt of pain through his body. He sat up, which only proved to send more pain shooting through him. He stared down the hallway, back in the way he had come from... He saw the light from the other room shining dimly into the corridor. He tried to pull himself up, or atleast crawl far enough to reach something dry enough to stand on, but his vision blurred, his head spinning. And then; He collapsed onto the ground.
