Chapter Seven
*an hour later*

2nashty4u: cam
2nashty4u: I'm so sorry
2nashty4u: princess I didn't mean it. I was just angry.
2nashty4u: please talk to me gorgeous, please don't leave me. not now.
cam: are you gonna call me an asshole again?
2nashty4u: no, I'm sorry. I was angry at people from school and I just took it out on you.
cam: tell me what happened?
2nashty4u: okay so we were in lunch today. and I play football like u know so I have to eat a lot, therefore I went back for seconds. I left my phone on the table when I went. I guess one of the guys got on my phone and saw our texts. I have my wallpaper as u, I'm sorry I didn't tell u, so I guess they wanted to find out who you were. I wish Matt had been there today bc he wouldn't have let them on it. But they saw them and they don't like that stuff. They don't like gay people around here. They beat the shit out of me when I got back. There were five of them. Cam I've played ball with them dickheads for forever and they didn't even care all bc of that one little thing.
cam: I'm sorry Nash. I wish I could be there for you. Listen, this is your last week and then you are away from them for the rest of your life. You'll never see them again. I need you to be strong and be who you are because I really like who you are and I don't want you giving up on me, okay?
2nashty4u: I won't babe. It was just a hard day.
cam: I thought I was gonna lose you before
2nashty4u: I apologize so much for blowing up at u, princess.
cam: it's okay daddy. I'm just glad you're alright.
2nashty4u: wanna see my roughed up face?
cam: yes

2nashty4u: they kicked me all on my damn back, you should see the bruises

cam: does Matt know?
2nashty4u: about today?
cam: yeah
2nashty4u: no. I haven't told him. I'm gonna ask him over. I think i will tell him about everything
cam: I'm so proud of you Nash. Don't worry, everything will be okay. Matt seems pretty chill
2nashty4u: he is. I'm just worried.
cam: you've got this daddy
2nashty4u: listen, princess, I'm not ashamed of who I am and I don't want u to think I am because of today. I love who I am and I look forward to everything that will happen in my future. I'm scared as fuck but I know that what will happen is gonna be better than what has happened.
cam: it will be honey and I promise you that.
2nashty4u: does Taylor and ur friends know that you're bisexual?
cam: they know that I love who I love and if they had a problem with it then they wouldn't be in my life
2nashty4u: that's what I'm scared of
cam: good luck daddy

Nash lets out a sigh and holds his phone in his two hands. If Matt is cold toward him, his world would be crushed. He's already hiding today from his family, if he had to hide from his best friend and pretend like their friendship never happened, he'd be broken. He can handle a few jerks that he didn't care about but Matthew was his main person.

Finally making the decision, he calls Matthew.

Matt: Hey
Nash: hi, you feeling any better?
Matt: better than last night.
Nash: good. Would you mind coming over? Or I could come there?
Matt: sure, I'll be over in about twenty minutes.
Nash: alright, be careful
Matt: mhm. Bye
Nash: bye

Nash drops his phone on the bed and winces as he pulls himself up. He puts on an old hoody that's loose so it won't be too tight on his sore back. How would he even begin telling him? 'Matt I'm gay.' But that's too fast. 'Matt, for a long time I have not liked vagina' But no, that's too explicit. As he rolls over ideas in his head the door bell rings downstairs.

When Nash gets down stairs Matthew and Skylynn are sitting on the couch. "Took you long enough." She says with a sigh, finally being able to unpause her princess movie. Nash chuckled and waved for Matthew to follow him. Matt says bye to Skylynn and lets Nash lead him up to his room.

As soon as they get through the door and Nash turns around, Matthew gasps, "Dude? What happened to your face?" He questions in panic, "I miss school one day and you managed to get your butt kicked?" Nash shakes his head with a shrug of his shoulders, "The boys on the team got on my phone." Matthew looks at him, confused. "And?" Nash takes a deep breath because this isn't exactly how he planned this would go. "They saw some text and pictures." Matthew continues to stare at him with the same sympathetic and worried eyes as he talks. "Text to this boy I've been talking to." He states as casually as he possibly can. "Boy? So why did they beat you up?" Matthew ponders before his eyes get wider. "Nash?"

Nash shakes his head and looks around before sucking it up and looking at his best friend. His fingers are crossed tight as he tells him, "I'm gay." The words have never been uttered out loud before, only to himself in the mirror and as he says them, a weight lifts off his chest. Matthew stands there in shock for a moment before he sits down on the bed. Nash cautiously sits down beside him.

They sit in silence for a few moments before Matthew lets out a quiet chuckle. Nash braces himself for the worst. "I guess I can ask out Emily now?" Emily is this waitress from their favorite restaurant that they've always playfully argued over. Nash lets out a happy laugh, "She's all yours, bro."

Matthew helps him make the swelling on his lips go down with a heat pad and covers the black eye with a little makeup. Nash feels so lucky to have a friend like Matthew. He was so worried about getting a negative response that he is taken back traumatically by the reaction that he received. But he's so thankful. They play games until his dad gets home with dinner.

I really like how this story is going so far and I can't wait to write the part that made me want to start this story in the first place.

I also can't wait to post/write the smut that goes along with this story because it involves their kinks and I honestly am so excited
