LATE
I was running with all of my might to get in time of my part time job at the five star restaurant where i was interviewed strictly before i got accepted
Damn one month only working on this job and im late already!
I tied my hair clamped not caring if it's not that neat, i know that my uniform was not in place and i saw a Black Lamborghini on the side of the pedistrian lane waiting for the green light, but i avoided my gaze and mind my own business
I stopped infront of the restaurant and saw Manong John, the guard of the five star restaurant i worked for just one month from now
"G-good... a-afternoon manong!" I greeted and bowed as i panted catching my breath and he raised a brow in surprised
"Malalate kana ah" saad nya at pinagbukasan ako ng pinto
"Kaya nga po eh, salamat po! Una na po ako!"Turan ko at tumakbo papasok ng restaurant, dali dali naman akong pumunta sa staff room para mag palit at bumungad sakin ni Mamang Linda ang manager nitong 5star restaurant kung saan ako nag t-trabaho
"Naku Astrid late kana! Bilisan mo at maraming tao ngayon! Mawawalan ka ng trabaho nan"Panenermon nya sakin
"Sorry na mamang, nag overtime po kasi yung professor namin eh, hindi na po mauulit"Paliwanag ko at inipitan ng maayos ang buhok ko, a neat bun, nag lagay nadin ako ng kaunting make up dahil nasa terms to ng restaurant
"Hay nako kang bata ka, bilisan mo na dyan" Saad ni Mamang Linda bago umalis sa staff room
Agad ko namang kinuha ang notes ko para sa pag kuha ng order at itinusok ang ballpen sa buhok ko bago humarap sa salamin at inayos ang kwelyo nito
Huminga ako ng malalim habang tinitignan ang repleksyon ko "Kaya mo to Astrid!" I cheered myself up and get out of the staff room, ready to get and serve food on this rich people
I was doing well when i accidentally bumped to a woman and i dropped some plates on the floor which made it crash she squealed in annoyance "Idiot! Mag dahan dahan ka naman! hindi mo ba alam kung mag kano tong damit kong ito?baka kulang pa yang sweldo mo dito sa isang taon mabayaran molang ako?!pano kung masugatan ako?!"Sigaw nya
I flinched as i kept my head down with my hands clutch together on my stomach "I-i apologize ma'am i didn't saw you coming so i bumped to you" Kinakabahan kong saad
"You didn't saw me?!"she pointed at herself sounded like she's offended and i looked around to see other customers looking at our direction
"Ang sabihin mo bulag kalang!Bobo!" Sigaw nya at tinulak ako at agad naman akong natumba at napatama sa basag na piraso ng plato ang kamay ko
"Aray!" I hissed and held my hand bleeding, i looked up at the woman and she was stopped by her friends
"Wag kang mag iskandalo dito mira! Don't waste your time in that worthless waitress, we're here to celebrate your promotion not scandalized, Look, the people are looking at us, isn't that embarrassing?"Saad nung babae sa likod nung Mira kuno na sobrang kapal ng make-up
The woman snob at me "No, I don't want to eat here anymore, let's go somewhere else, where there's staffs that wasn't clumsy like here."she said harshly and walk out of the restaurant
My colleague helped me stand up and dusted off my uniform as they immediately clean the pieces of the broken plate on the floor
"Ayos kalang ba Astrid?" Tanong sakin ni Ally isa sa mga kaibigan ko sa trabaho at tumango akong kinakabahan
Baka matanggal ako sa trabaho gawa nung kanina
"Oh! may sugat ka astrid pahinga ka muna kami nang bahala dito" saad nya at sinamahan ako pabalik sa staff room at ginamot yung sugat ko
