An explosion went off during Erza's fight against Rachael. On the opposite side of the mansion, several mini explosions were going off as well.
"If you won't fight back, then just let me leave!" Jellal demanded. He had threw some minor attacks at Rick, but Rick simply dodged.
"Oh, I plan on fighting back." Rick said, reaching inside his tuxedo jacket. He pulled out a key. A sparkling golden key that was rather large and looked exactly like jail cell keys.
"What is that?" Jellal mumbled. He had never seen such a key in his entire life. He gulped, not knowing what to expect.
"I'm aware that you use Heavenly Body Magic, correct?" Rick held the key out as if he was using it to open a door. "So you and this spirit have something in common."
A spirit, Jellal shouted in shock in his head.
"Open, Gate of the God of Light!" The key in Rick's hand began to glow a bright yellow. A magic circle appeared in front of the glowing key, matching the color of the key itself. "Apollo!"
Jellal watched as Rick performed his magic. Two silhouettes were seen as the magic circle disappeared and the key stopped glowing. One was of a large golden chariot and the other was of a man. The man was very much in shape and looked to be in his mid-20s. He had short, curly blond hair and blue eyes. And he also wasn't wearing much clothing. He only wore a simple chiton and sandals. "You're a Celestial Spirit Wizard? Impossible!" Jellal couldn't believe his eyes. The last time he checked, Lucy and Yukino had all twelve Zodiac keys. What did Rick just summon?
"There are more than just Zodiac spirits in the Spirit World." Rick explained. "Ever heard of the Twelve Gods of Olympus? Well, I have all twelve keys." Rick grinned at Jellal's jaw dropping. "This is Apollo." Rick gestured to the spirit, "The God of Light."
"Who knew that this kind of magic existed?" Jellal said under his breath.
"Apollo, attack him. But do not kill him, just . . . immobilize him." Rick commanded. "Yes, sir." Apollo answered. As a spirit with a contract, he must do as his master ordered. And that exactly what he did.
Apollo got in his chariot and stuck his hand out to Rick for him to take, which he did. Once Rick was safely in the chariot, it floated in the air and two spheres of light appeared at the head. The spheres were cast down so fast that Jellal didn't have time to dodge and was forced to take the attack head on. "Apollo's attacks move at the speed of light." Rick laughed.
The attack caused an explosion which destroyed the room. The wall had been destroyed and Jellal was nowhere to be seen anymore. The chariot flew to the hallway and that's where Jellal was found. He was leaning against a column and gripping his stomach, breathing for dear live. What powerful magic, he thought.
Jellal was still determined to fight and win this fight against Rick. Erza was doing her best to beat Rachael so he had to do his best. Giving up was not an option. I can do this, Jellal told himself. "Meteor." Jellal used that spell to zoom past Rick and his spirit. He flew on the ceiling, confusing Rick. What was he doing? Panicking? After a quick second, Jellal returned to the ground. "You alright there, buddy?" Rick asked.
The Heavenly Body Mage ignored him. "Be judged by the seven stars." He locked eyes with Rick whose eyes were widening. "Grand Chariot!" The spell was casted and the seven beams of light rained down on Rick and Apollo. "I'm closing your gate." Rick informed the spirit during the attack. Apollo nodded and went back to the Spirit World.
Once the dust cleared, Rick stood there breathing heavy. His tuxedo had some rips and tears, but no fatal wounds. Rick put Apollo's key pack in his pocket and pulled out another key. Another spirit, Jellal worried. "Open! Gate of the God of Wine!" With a glow of the key and the appearance of a magic circle, another spirit was summoned. "Dionysus!"
The spirit Dionysus appeared, also wearing a chiton and sandals. He looked much older than Apollo, somewhere in the late 30s. He had short brown hair, brown eyes, and a full beard. In his hand, he was carrying a drinking cup.
"Did you say wine?" Jellal asked, amused. Wine didn't sound threatening. But still, it was funny to think about.
"Yeah, I know. It sounds silly, but the effects are defiantly not silly." Rick hummed. "He's all yours, Dionysus."
"Hello, young wizard. Are you a big drinker?" The spirit asked. His voice was deep and it boomed throughout the hall. Jellal shook his head, uncomfortable. Weren't they suppose to be fighting? Now the spirit wants to have a conversation? "No? Well, you're about to be!" Dionysus laughed. He held up his cup and alcohol overflowed from it. The alcohol turned into a massive wave and nearly drowned Jellal, causing him to fall flat on his back.
The Heavenly Body Mage coughed up come wine. He also felt dizzy. What happened to him? He tried to stand up and regain his balance, but it was like everything was upside down. "What did you . . . do to me?"
"It's the wine!" Dionysus laughed with a thumbs up.
"The wine acts like a poison. Ever been drunk, Jellal?" Rick smirked.
"What am I going to do? I have to find a way to beat him." Jellal thought. His world, his head, even his thoughts were spinning. He couldn't face Erza ever again if he lost this fight. Erza, the girl that never loses. If Jellal lost, he wouldn't have the right to be with her.
Stand up and fight, he told himself in his thoughts, for Erza!
