Som flushed the moments he heared that..
Because once of his life when his life is dark and gloomy, he promise himself not to have anyone and he will kill himself by studying
He planned to die alone, he planned not to have anyone the could make him fragile but there he is right now.
Smiling widely over a boy he just met over 2 months, he didn't realize the time ran so fast, he remembered their first encounter the time he bump on this guy..
They started dating without Som’s dad knowing
Yet their still happy, they go out and eat together, fight with their problem together not minding the people around them
“Phi...”
“hm?”
“why do you love sunset so much?”
Som said while watching sunset in Korn’s shoulder
“my mom loves it.”
“ohh? Where is your mom?”
“she passed away few years ago, he got shot in front of me."
“what? I am sorry phi”
“it’s fine.”
“but why do you love beach?”
“it’s where my mom and dad used to take me.. I remember those days when we're still happy, we always go to the beach every Saturday and play with the water till sun sets, and then we will grill some barbeque and watch sunset together.. it's just sad that I can't do that anymore. My dad died when I was 13, he got shot in a mission, he’s police man like me. That's the time I promise my self that when I grew up, I'll be like him, but I didn't know it's this hard. And then my mom died when I was 17 as I said she got shot, she’s a detective working in a secret firm, when the mafias found out. They raided our home and shot my mom infront of me, leading me for minor head injury and trauma for years.”
“i am sorry to hear that”
“it’s okay, you have the right to know since you're part of my world now”
“hmm.. well to be fair I will tell you why my mom isn't around anymore.”
“sure, if you're okay with it.”
“well, I remember that time, me and p'son are playing in the living room
I heared mom and dad arguing about my dad profession and doings, that time we still couldn't understand what's happening, we just thought their just talking normally, until they suddenly got quiet, me and p'son hide in the cupboard and saw my mom laying at the floor and my dad is upstars looking at my mom.. my dad pushed mom and fell, I got traumatize that's why they often saw me frowning..”
After hearing Som’s story, Korn hugged Som tightly and kisses his head
“I am sorry if I didn't know you earlier.”
“I am sorry too, if you have to experience those kind of horrible things.”
They hugged each other in a beach, the sunset arrived and they both looked at it and smile
