CHAPTER #1

|| Korn talking ||

I looked at the paper documents in front of me, this is too many to handle in one day. I looked at the time and it's already passed midnight. I didn't even notice it.

“Korn? Staying up late again?” Por asked.

“Do I have any other options? I need to finish this.” Por looked at me with annoyance.

“Can you stop being such a consistent officer for once? You never give us a chance to get the 'best officer' award for once!” Por said, laughing while looking at me. What the hell is he looking at.

I glared at him, he knows how consistent i am to my work.

“ohooooo... Killing me with your glare? Fine fine fine,  I won't disturb you anymore.. gotta go!”

I just nod at him, watching him whistling, dancing while walking towards the door. 

“the hell is wrong with him?” i shake my head and continue checking the documents assigned for me.

One document fell out of my table, I reach for it and saw a name “Somchai Prasert.” I picked it up and looked at it with sincere eyes.

“who is this..” i whispered still looking at the document.

“Somchai Prasert, 22 years old, Thai, Son of Nattapong Prasert.” i read the document out loud and hurriedly check it on internet.

“Somchai Prasert” i typed on the keyboard and immediately, his photo pops out. There's a lot of controversy, issues, and problems.

I am confuse, why is this here? What did he do?

I was looking at it in a while when I noticed someone's looking at me.

“ai shia!! Ohooo!! Inspector!! Why are you staring at me like that!”

Yes, i am a SWAT police officer but that doesn't mean i can’t get startled right?

He laugh softly when he saw my pale face, who wouldn't be startled? It's passed midnight and someone is staring at you.

“haha! Khun Korn why are you startled?”

he asked, uhhh do you really have to asked that? Can you check the time and why did you stare at me like that.

I was about to say that when I remember that he’s the inspector and his position are higher than mine, so i  have to pay him respect.

“uhmm i am just distracted Inspector, umm do you know this kid?”

I asked him, while handing him the document with that kid's name

“ohoo khun korn! You call him kid as if you're much older, anyways to answer you questions, yes i know him, he's pretty popular because of his looks and intelligence.. Yet he's still bullied by some jerks.”

I nod trying to process everything i just learned about this kid, he said he's dad is a business man. But why is he still bullied? I thought he's from a big name family.
