Oh, trembling days of reckless dreams, when nothing was as calm
Oh, trembling days of reckless dreams, when nothing was as calm as it seems, a world too vast, yet closing in, where laughter masked the storm within.
I ran through time, so sure, so blind, chasing what I could never find, each stumble, a scar, each fall, a song, a melody of where I belong.
Dear youth, so fragile, so raw, and true, I see now what I couldn't view, you held my tears, my fears, my flame, through all the loss, you stayed the same.
How cruel I was to doubt your grace, your untamed heart, your restless pace, but in your chaos. seeds were sown, a strength I've claimed, a life I've grown.
To my youth, my shadow, my light, you burned so fiercely, through day and night, and through you're gone, I'll carry you still, a whisper of hope, a voice to heal.
