From the footage, he could see that the kidnappers were heavily armed, keeping Kendall, Kris, Kim, Khloé, Kourtney, and Kylie at gunpoint.

Gustavo (internally): "They're spread out throughout the house... I need to be strategic."

He took a deep breath, mentally organizing his plan of action. His special forces training had prepared him for this, but the emotional pressure of having people so important to him in danger was immense. He could not fail.
