Fantasia POV

Me and Taraji was in the mall with the kids walking around we went into kids foot locker to find some matching shoes for us and the kids to wear.

"Baby you like these"

"Yeah I like em"

"Mama Raji"

"Yes Dallas"

"Can we get them so all of us can match"

"Ofc bud"

Taraji asked one of the workers if she can get the shoe in each size she gave him the shoe and waited for him to come back with the boxes that had the shoes in it.

"Fantasia"

Fantasia heard a familiar voice call her name she turned around she saw her kids father she looked disgusted.

"Why are you here Michael"

"I wanted to ask if I can spend time with the kids"

"After all those years you have the nerve to come me a question like that tbh I don't want you and it's not up to me it's up to Dallas and Zion they not little kids no more he's 10 years old and she is 16"

"Ma who is that?"

"Dallas that's your father well deadbeat but anyways "

"Baby you okay"

Taraji came up to her wrapping her arms around her waist pulling her closer to her.

"Yeah I'm okay Michael wanted to know if he could spend time with the kids but I told him it's not up to me"

"Ma idk him that's not my dad I only have two parents and that is you and Mama Raji"

"What y'all putting in my sons head I'm his father and his parent not this dyke"

"Sir or wtv your name is one idk know you never heard of you a day in my life and second don't talk abt my mama like that "

"Dallas Amari Barrino I will not tolerate you calling this woman your mama you only have two parents which is me and your mom"

Fantasia was about to say some until Zion told her not to and that she got all tho she was respectful she wasn't  about to let someone who walked out of her and her brothers life to disrespect Taraji.

"Don't talk to my brother like if we being honest Michael you chose to walk out me and my brothers life when I was 6 and he was only 1 years old second Taraji stepped up and became our 2nd parent that we never had or did you forget he don't know you so walk away"

Fantasia watch and listen to what Zion said to her father a tear dropped from her eyes onto her face she quickly wiped them but Taraji noticed it was something wrong.

She pulled Fantasia into a hug swaying then side to side and using her thumb to wiped her face she looked up and seen that Michael was gone she grabbed Fantasia hand they walked to the register to pay for the shoes.

"Thank Mama Raji"

"Anything for my babies"

"I'm lowkey hungry can we go to the foot court"

"Ofc I'm a lil hungry myself "

We left out of footlocker heading to the food court so we could get something to eat I order them something from chick-fil-a and found us a table to sit at.

"Mama Raji"

"Wassup Bud"

"I want a baby sister mommy said I gotta wait"

"You'll get one soon just be patient "

"Okay"

I got up and went to go get the food then came back to the table sitting the bag down and giving them their food then sat next to Fantasia and kids as we said grace and begin eating.

*Few hours later*
Taraji POV

Football season was almost over I have my own business which is the TPH Lining I wanna talk to Fantasia about something's.

"Baby"

"Yes love"

"Can we talk"

"Sure what's going on"

"It's nothing I just wanted to tell you before someone else does before I became a football coach for the kids I used to be in the mafia but I left that and became a football coach "

"That's good I'm proud of you baby"

"Thank you but that doesn't mean I can't throw so punches and knock a nigga upside his head"

Fantasia said laughing

Taraji wrapped her arms around Fantasia waist and pulled her closer Fantasia was standing up and Taraji was sitting down on the bed.

Fantasia plays in Taraji head while she her head on Fantasia stomach they sat in silence while enjoying each other's presents .

"So baby"

"Hmm"

"What you gonna do when football season ends"

"Idk I mean I make a lot of money from my business but imma help you with the rest of your album so you can release it"

"I'm finishing up my last song for the free yourself Album"

"That's good I can't for the world to hear my baby music "

"I can't wait either a little nervous but you been helping with this Album and I really appreciate it"

Taraji lifted up and pecked Fantasia on the lips a couple of times smiling at her she was very proud of her.

Fantasia left out the room to check on the kids she went to go check on Dallas she seen him laying on his bed staring at the ceiling with tears coming down.

"Dallas"

"Hmm"

"What's wrong "

"It's nothing I'm okay"

"Come here"

Dallas sat up and went to Fantasia she pulled him into a hug and he broke down in her arms Taraji heard him crying and came into his room seeing Fantasia trying to calm him down.

"Dall come here"

Taraji sat on his bed and sat Dallas on her lap and Rubbed Circles in his back she waited until he calmed down to talk to him.

"What's wrong "

"I just wanna know why he left us mama Raji"

"Who are you talking about Bubba"

"Michael "

"Idk why Bubba but I know it wasn't you and or your sister fault or your mom's fault that was no choice be made"

"Okay"

I wiped his face and kissed his forehead hugging him my baby boy was hurting I signal for Fantasia to come here she sat next to me while Dallas laid his head on my chest.

"Is he okay"

"Yea he's going to be fine baby"
