The team got ready to run out on the field it was their turn to come out Taraji got them hyped and blew the whistle for them to run through the paper.

The kids ran through the port getting on the field Taraji went to the side lines where the other team coach was at watching her team play she notice something was wrong with Dallas.

"Aye Dallas come here"

Dallas came running towards her off the field Taraji noticed he looked a little upset so she told him to have a sit so they could talk.

"Wassup Coach"

"What's going on why you look upset"

"I just wished my mom came to see me play but she got work she always working she never gets to see me play"

"Look I understand that but I want you to focus on the game I'm sure she'll show up before the game ends"

"She not gonna show up she's gonna miss it just like all my other games "

"I get it but you got me and your Aunt Dani let's just hope she makes it"

"Ight now get back out there"

Dallas ran back on the field getting in position Taraji felt bad she didn't really know what to do he's only 10 years old he's a good kid but she knew he wanted his mom to see him play.

The team scored another touched down the crowd started cheering Taraji blew her wish the for the boys to come here when they did she gave them some water before they went back in the field.

I hade made it to Dallas football game I found someone to cover for I haven't been able to make it to his games like and when I did it would be almost over because I would have to work overtime .

"Hey Dani"

"Hey Tai you made it"

"Yeah I got Kelly to cover for me so I could come"

"Glad you came they are in 2nd quarter"

"Okay that's good"

I watched the game and Seen Dallas run the ball towards the touchdown while he team blocked the other he ran and made a touchdown I got up and clapped.

"Good Job Dallas"

Dallas heard his mom voice and looked over in the audience and spotted her and wave smiling at her before giving the ball to the referee.

"He's glad to see you here Tai"

"I know is that his coach right there"

"Who her?"

"Yeah her"

"Yes that's my friend Taraji she's the kids football coach"

*Few hrs later*

The game ended Dallas ran to his mom and gave her a hug she hugged him back spinning him around she was happy to see him play for the first time this made her happy.

"I'm so proud of you baby"

"Thank you mom for coming I know you be working a lot but I'm glad you came"

"Nice to meet you too Fantasia Dallas is a good boy I really enjoy having him on my team"

"Ofc I'm going to take them out to celebrate mind if he joins us?"

Dallas went to go put his stuff in his moms car before going over to where the rest of team are at.

"Hey can I talk to you for a sec"

"I wanted to thank you again for keeping an eye on my little boy I've been working a lot so I can provide for him and his sister "

"No problem you got my number text me anytime you need something and I'll be there to help out I love him like he's my own"

I walked to my car getting inside and driving out the lot going to meet them at the arcade parking my car and getting out making sure the doors were locked.

He grabbed my hand taking me inside where everyone else was at I sat down at the table while he went and played I'm glad he's enjoying himself.
