I was sitting at the table watching Dallas play with his teammates and then they came to the table so they can Dallas sat next to me while I sat across from Taraji.

"She's fine asl her skin is beautiful "I thought

"Mom try these nachos"

He gave me one and I tried it never would've thought I was going to be a single mother but it's been a blessing especially being with someone who would always talk down on you.

I noticed a woman walking towards the table not looking to happy when she finally came over she cleared her throat and we all looked at her.

"Taraji this what we doing now you put with bitches and shit but can't even answer your phone"

Taraji covered Dallas ears so he wouldn't hear what she was about to say to the woman.

"First of Gabrielle I was taking my team out to celebrate their win they got today and don't call her no bitch bc that's Dallas mother I asked her to join us"

"All I know is you better stay away from her she look like a slut"

After I heard that word I got up and left the table not hearing Taraji yelling at her I went to the bathroom and went in the stalls with tears rolling down my face that word reminded me of what my ex would say to me.

Taraji POV

I had security escort Gabby out of the arcade after cussing her out for calling Fantasia a slut I got up and went to the bathroom I went inside and heard muffling.

So I went to the stall I was hearing the noise come from and knocked on the door a little bit and it went silent for a while.

"Can I come in?"

"Y-yeah sure"

Fantasia unlocked the bathroom stall so that Taraji could come in she lifted Fantasia off the floor but she just kept her head down so Taraji lifted her head up and seen that her eyes were red.

"Sorry about her you okay?"

"Yeah I guess but I'm used to it tho"

"What you mean"

Taraji said scrunching you her face

"Well my ex use to call me that everytime he would come home drunk or when we get into arguments"

"I'm so sorry you had to go through that"

Taraji pulled Fantasia in for a hug rocking them side to side rubbing circles in her back then she pulled away wiping the tears from Fantasia face.

"Don't worry about her you to beautiful to be crying like this but I understand you have a son out there I don't want him seeing his mommy cry"

"Thanks and I know"

"Come on let's get back out there"

*few hours later*

"Mom"

"Do you like my coach?"

"Bc I seen her go to the bathroom and check on you and when y'all came out you smiling and laughing "

"I mean I do like her as a friend but that's it ion think I can do another relationship "

I never expected him to say that even do Dallas was 10 years old he understood things and was very protective of me.
