Caitlyn's POV

--

"You really went to the undercity to get these?" I ask in shock "Weren't you afraid?" I question, my parents told me that the Undercity is a dangerous place "A little danger is worth the risk, don't you think?" he says, and I nod, dropping an item from the box I'm holding "Uh, careful. That's your parents' money you're dropping" Jayce says before placing his key into his door. I bend over to pick up what I dropped when I heard Jayce calling out to somebody in his apartment. I watch us he drops his stuff and runs to his door trying to open it but it's not budging.

He starts slamming his body into the door and twisting the doorknob, but nothing is working. Jayce moves back and tries to kick the door but as soon as he does, a huge explosion and I get pushed back slightly but Jayce gets slammed into the wall behind him. I drop the box and run up to Jayce as he passes out "Jayce?" I call him but he doesn't answer, falling to the floor "Jayce!" I yell but am unsuccessful at waking him up. I run out the building and call over some enforcers who were nearby and they run in to get Jayce.

I run over to my house and swing the door open, seeing my dad sitting in the dining table, drinking tea and reading a book. I run to him and hug him tightly, tears falling from my face "What happened?!" He asks, "there was an explosion" I take a deep breath "And I almost died but Jayce got really hurt" I say and wipe my tears "It's okay, your mother will fix this" Dad says and hugs me.

I walk to my room and lay on the bed, thinking about the girl I saw with y/h/c hair get up when I went to check up on Jayce 'who was she? why did she decide to steal from Jayce?' I thought but my thoughts were interrupted by someone knocking on my bedroom door "Cait?" Mom came in and I ran to her hugging her tightly "I'm so glad you're okay" she says, and I just hug her tighter "I will take care of who did this" she says and smiles at me, but I can see that she's clenching her fists in anger.

Y/N's POV

I watch as Vi beats all her old scores in the boxing machine "nice" I say to myself, admiring how she grows higher from each match "remind me why we bother with this dump" Mylo says "Vander said to lay low." Vi replies "Enforcers never come down here, so this is as good a place as any" she adds "after going to Piltover, I'm not going to start stealing till next month" I sigh and play the game next to Claggor "What's the matter, Mylo? You worried Powders gonna beat you again?"  Claggor smiles "Hey if she didn't keep fixing these things, I wouldn't keep missing" Mylo argues "Pft please, you couldn't even hit a can if you tried to" I laugh

Powder jumps up from behind the counter and smirks, plugging together the cables and all the lights turn on, the machines starting to move quickly after. Mylo makes a face at Powder before trying to shoot at the targets but missing each shot "You guys know I wouldn't take you on a job you couldn't handle, right?" Vi suddenly says "Are you kidding? That was the best job we've ever done" Mylo tries to shoot again but misses... again "Maybe just don't take Powder next time" he adds and Powder looks at him, furrowing her eyebrows "Mylo if you speak of Powder one more time I swear I will shove my foot so far up y-" I say before getting interrupted by Claggor "Let's not start fights Y/n" He says and I scoff, rolling my eyes

I watch as powder raises her gun and aims at a target, she soon starts to shoot and manages to hit all the targets and when she finished, she put her gun down and made a face at Mylo before walking to a game. "Wow a ten-year-old kid shoots better than a sixteen-year-old asshole" I laugh and pat Powder on the shoulder. I hear Mylo growl behind me and start shooting the targets again. I turn to a window that was slightly broken, and I use that peephole to see the commotion outside "Guys, look outsi-" I get cut off by the man who spit on the enforcers shoe fly through the window, shattered glass spread all over the ground. I see the enforcers looking at us and I pull Powder behind me "Search them" one of the enforcers said and I felt Powders hands holding onto my waist.
