Lilith waved me goodbye with a smile; not a smirk, and I waved back at her, turning back to finally get out of school.

Since i had taken mom's car to school, I took out the keys and pressed the unlock button, the car finally coming to life.

I got in and like on queue, my phone started ringing.

An unknown number.

I decided not to pick up and hang up instead, starting the car and driving out.

I'm supposed to go shopping with Adrian and Amara, so I head straight towards the mall.

My planner was lovely today:
• Go to the mall
• Get Boba
• Shop the hell out
• Netflix n chill
• Sleep as much as possible

Friday, of course.
But there was one last part to that planner, a few words scribbled in the corner in a box saying, "Don't forget about dear homework,", which I chose to avoid till Sunday midnight.

I parked in the parking lot of the mall and nearly jumped out of the car, taking my bag on the way out and taking out my phone as I did.

"Where are youuuuu?" I dramatically asked through the phone, Amara chuckling on the other side.

"Starbucks, gurly," I could imagine Amara smirking as she said.

Maybe change that boba tea to an espresso in my list?

I'd never be able to choose between tea or coffee.

"That's what we're talkin' about," I said and smirked myself, hanging up and putting the phone back into my pocket.

I let out a long yawn as I closed the door to Amara's house behind me.

Half past twelve. A.m, I read on my watch.

I should. Not. Have drunk tequila.
Doesn't matter even if I drank three shots or something.

I was already sleepy, and the tequila was adding to it.

Amara was already passed out on her bed, and Adrian had left early, not drinking at all because he said his parents wanted him to go back home as fast as possible for some reason, which I don't remember.

I had a very little intolerance for alcohol, but I managed to stay on my feet.

I started walking, more of stumbling, my way to the sidewalk of the road.

The full moon shone on the sky, and I caught myself staring at it as I aimlessly walked through the sidewalk.

I mentally thanked myself for wearing a beige cardigan over the sleeveless top I wore, pairing it with cream colored flare jeans.

The cold air made contact with my face, and it did feel too cold, but it also felt relaxing for some reason.

I kept walking, not aware of my surroundings, when I suddenly felt a cold hand wrap around my wrist and pull me back, making me come back into my senses.

I widened my eyes and looked around, realizing that I was about to hit a pole and someone had pulled me back before I did.

I snapped my head towards the person who had pulled me back, and-

Damn, who is this?

Don't get me wrong- I'm not saying I got some instant crush on this person, but he does look nice.

Blonde hair, brown eyes, slightly furrowed eye brows.
It's midnight, and he was wearing a suit, his hair a messy taper cut.
