I was walking towards the library after a long chemistry lecture. God, one day I will kill my friends for ditching me and skipping university without telling me. My day has already been enough miserable, I whole heartedly wish for it to not get ruined further. I reached the library and spotted the book I wanted. A smile crept over my lips as I extended my hand to grab it. Wait? in a split second it disappeared, I turned around in a swift motion, GOD , why? Standing right in front of me, to ruin my mood further is Kabir Malik with an irritating smirk on his shitty face. '' I saw that book first'', I said,
He looked down at me ''But I grabbed it first'', he patted my head ''Better luck next time shorty''. I can't tolerate him anymore, god, I hate him!
''You've got to be kidding me, I've literally been pacing in front of this shelf since ages for this book to show up!'' I said while trying to snatch that book from him
''Well, I'm just faster. Guess you need to pick up the pace if you want to compete'' he said while holding the book up, out of my reach. This bloody rascal, I swear I would've killed him a long ago if there were no consequences.
'' Hand it over. I'll settle for being the better scholar than the quicker one any day'' I said while trying to reach the book,
'' Come and get it, slowpoke. You'll get it back, after I finish reading it first'' he said holding it further high.
'' Keep it. I'll just download its pdf on my phone while you're still stuck on the first chapter'' I shot back with a smirk and turned around to leave. I felt a grip on my wrist , knowing who it must be, I turned back with my one eyebrow raised up ''what?'' ,
''You, Inayat Qureshi, can never win from me. GET THAT THING INSIIDE YOUR MIND'' he said with furious eyes , leaving my wrist with force and left. Hah! that's exactly what I wanted, infuriate him, my day is no longer boring. I turned around and went to my next class.

I started walking towards my biotech class after the argument with Inayat. God she makes me sick. I turned and instantly felt mesmerized by the beauty of our university.
