Sophia stood in the kitchen, chopping fruit for a fresh salad as the familiar hum of the family home filled the air. The house was full of life as usual—David and Romeo were in the living room, discussing some new fitness routine David was trying, while Brooklyn, Nicola, and Cruz were gathered around the dining table, catching up on life and laughing together. The added noise from Mia and Harper talking by the couch added to the sense of warmth in the house.

It was rare to have everyone under one roof. Brooklyn, who had moved to New York with his wife, Nicola, had flown in for a visit, and Cruz had come home from his flat for the weekend. Even though Sophia loved the quiet moments, having the whole family together again was a reminder of how special these times were.

Victoria walked into the kitchen and smiled when she saw Sophia trying to organize the kitchen in her usual methodical way. "How's the unpacking going?" she asked, her tone light as she leaned against the counter.

Sophia chuckled softly. "I'm getting there. But it's a bit much. Spain really does know how to send souvenirs."

Victoria laughed, glancing at the pile of bags Sophia had dragged back home. "You always pack like you're moving to another country. It's just one weekend, darling."

Sophia smiled and shrugged. "What can I say? I like to be prepared for everything."

As they continued to chat, David wandered into the kitchen, pulling his hoodie over his head. "It's like a zoo in here, isn't it?" he said, ruffling Sophia's hair as he passed by.

"More like a party," she responded, looking up at him with a playful grin. "I haven't seen this much noise since Cruz was home."

Just then, the sound of Cruz's laughter echoed down the hallway. Sophia paused for a moment and looked toward the sound of her brother's voice, feeling her chest fill with happiness. Cruz had always been the more laid-back of the Beckham children, with a quiet energy that contrasted with the rest of the family. When he was home, everything felt a little more complete.

Victoria turned to David. "So, are we all ready for tonight? I want everyone to be here for dinner."

David nodded. "Of course. Brooklyn and Nicola are here, and we'll make it a family night. But, let's not forget we've got some news to discuss."

Sophia arched an eyebrow. "What news?" she asked, curious but feeling a little left out of the loop.

David raised his hand playfully. "You'll find out soon enough, but let's just say it involves your mother's favorite topic: the documentary."

Sophia rolled her eyes. "That thing again? You've been talking about it nonstop, Dad."

"I'm excited about it," David said, looking proud. "It's my legacy, Soph."

"I think that's a bit much," Romeo's voice called from the other room as he entered the kitchen, sliding into a chair at the table next to Mia, who was talking animatedly with Harper.

"I'm just saying," Romeo continued, "I've watched more teasers than I care to count. Everyone's going to know how we all live now."

David chuckled. "It's not just about that. It's about sharing our story. This documentary has been years in the making. Trust me, you'll appreciate it."

At that moment, Brooklyn and Nicola entered the room, both smiling and looking more relaxed than usual. Brooklyn, fresh from New York, made his way over to give his mum a quick hug before grabbing a seat beside Cruz. Nicola, always the social butterfly, kissed David on the cheek and turned to give Sophia a warm hug. "It's good to be home," she said, her accent still carrying a hint of New York even after all these years.
