"I'd rather be a villain who's respected, than a hero who's ignored."

I lounged in the principal's office, flipping through my phone with one hand while examining my artificial nails with the other. My long, braided hair cascades down my back like a river, and my designer handbag sits at my feet, a status symbol that screams "I'm richer than you."
"Mhm, yeah, great," was my response when the principal asks me a question I paid no heed to.
"Madam, I asked you a question," Principal Kenny yapped at me, angrily slamming her palms on her desk for the umpteenth time.
I rolled my eyes, not even bothering to look up from my phone, while chewing a bubble gum carefree, letting the sounds irk her more. Being called to her office is a norm for me, so we understand each other pretty well.
She talks; I don't listen.
"Throw that gum away, and sit properly when I'm talking to you," she ordered sternly, huffing at my nonchalance.
I decided to remove my legs from her desk, even though I'm comfortable in that position. Anger engulfed me, so I tossed my iPhone 14 Pro Max to one the shelves in her office and the screen broke.
I'm bored of it already!
I want iPhone 15 this time, so I made a note to myself. I spat my gum out into my hand, and stuck it under her desk.
She noticed my gesture, but ignored me. She massaged her forehead with both hands and made some ticking sounds with her tongue, as she shook her head. "Yemisi. Yemisi. Yemisi," she mumbled my name, while I stared at her with lowered brows.
I'm bored and tired of our regular meetings. She's always on my case, and I'm blamed for anything unfortunate that occurs at Crestwood High Academy!
"How many times did I call your name?" she asked, snapping me from my thoughts.
I pulled out my fingers and reminisced how many times she uttered my name, while counting. "Three."
Principal Kenny's face turned to a deeper shade of red as she glares at me. "You're really a bad influence at this school, you're aware of that, right?" she spat, her voice venomous.
Tell me something I don't know. Mitchew.
I shrugged, my expression unchanging. "I am aware," I drawled, opening another packet of chewing gum.
It's a habit.
Seeing the scowl on Principal Kenny's face, I wrapped the gum back in its packet, before folding my arms in an obstinate manner.
My jaw hurt, from not chewing gum in the past five minutes. It was pure torture!
Principal Kenny's eyes narrowed slightly, as she grimaced at me. "You're so arrogant, Yemisi. You think you're above the law, don't you?"
I snorted, rolling my eyes. "Law? Which law? The law of Crestwood High Academy? Please, I wrote that law," I said, fanning myself with my hand for dramatic effect.
