"Oh, come on Remus it would be great." pleaded Sirius.

"Yeah," said James, nodding enthusiastically. "We would all be able to help with your 'furry little problem'!"

"Would you please stop calling it that! It sounds I own deranged rabbit or something." sighed Lupin as he took his seat in the Great Hall for lunch.

It had been two years since the night Sky, Sirius, James and Peter had discovered Remus's biggest secret. They had sworn to keep it a secret and had been asisting in the lies that were told once a month. If anyone asked were Remus went they would reply with 'His mother is ill' or 'His father just returned from a horrible trip to Transylvania'. But now James and Sirius wanted to do more. They wanted to accompany him while he was a werewolf and Professor McGonagall had just given them a great way to do this.

"Look, if we became Animagus we wouldn't tell anyone, we would sneak out after you leave the castle and we can keep you company in the Shrieking Shack." Sirius argued.

"But that's illegal!" said Sky, who had been keeping out of the conversation until now.

"So, we won't get caught." said Sirius dismissively.

"What do you think about all this Sky?" asked Remus. Skylar was shocked about him asking for her opinion. She chewed on her steak slowly, thinking. She swallowed.

"I think that it would be good to be able to accompany you," there was a collective 'yes' from James and Sirius, "but I'm not sure about the animagus idea." she finished glaring at James and Sirius. There was an outbreak of shouting and protesting from the two boys. The argument continued for most of lunch, until Remus was forced to put an end to it.

"FINE!" he shouted over the raucous. "You can become Animagus to accompany me while I am transformed.".

"YES!!!" roared James and Sirius in unison.

"We'll need to give ourselves a name." anounced Sirius excitedly. They all fell silent in thought.

"How about 'The Marauders'?" suggested Sky, although she didn't want to get too involved.

"That's great!" exclaimed James. "We'll have to decide on individual nicknames too, of course." and with that he and Sirius sprinted out of the Great Hall.

Remus gave a great sigh. Sky turned to look at him and saw that he looked concerned. "Don't worry Remus, they'll be fine. I'll keep an eye on them." she smiled and put her arm around his shoulders, giving him a little hug. Then she clambered off the bench and left the Hall, Peter following quickly. Remus was left to his thoughts.
