The sun shone down on the courtyard of the small abbey. A light breeze whipped the guests hair in their faces. A beautiful melody began to play from inside the abbey as the couple walked out. James Potter was dressed smartly in his tux and shiny black shoes, his bowtie secured neatly around his neck. On his arm was his wife. Her red hair cascaded down her back, covered by the soft net veil. Her green eyes glistened in the sunlight. Her dress was almost as beautiful as her. It fell to the floor, hugging her curves in all the right places. Silver beads were dotted over the snow white fabric. When these caught the sun it appeared as though she was sparkling. The newly wedded couple: James and Lily Potter.

They were closely followed by three men in suits. Peter Pettigrew shuffled along in front at the front of the trio, his suit making him look plumper than usual as it was tightly fitted. Remus Lupin strode along behind him, stood up tall in his suit, proud to be a best man for one of his best friends. His sandy brown hair was parted to the side and lay completely flat against his head. Then came Sirius Black.

By far the tallest, most handsome of the group, he walked along beside Remus. His grey eyes gazing ahead. His hair fell to his shoulders but was tamer than usual, his beard neatly trimmed and shaped. His hands were held behind him and he walked.

Confetti showered down on them as the guests cheered and cried as the happy couple contiued to walk to the marquee set up for the banquet and dance. Just in front of the large tent the group stopped for photographs. They laughed and joked as the photographers darted around snapping shots of them, Sirius putting on a show. In reality he was lost in his little world that wasn't nearly as happy as it once had been.

"Sirius? You okay mate?" said a voice from his right. He was dragged out of his thoughts by his concerned friend, James.

"What? Oh, yeah, I'm fine." replied Sirius, although he sounded distant.

"You'll find someone else. Who could resist a guy like you, eh?" said James, playfully nudging Sirius in the arm and winking.

Sirius sighed. He knew what James was talking about. His lost love. His heart had never stopped aching since that tragic day.

He shook his head slightly, lifting his eyes to gaze at the heavens above.

"No, James, I won't. My heart will always belong to Sky." a small smile playing on his lips as he remembered the love of his life.
