Dona's pov
We arrived at the mall and it was really huge. There were a lot of high end stores here.

"Here",marco says as he hands me a black card,"buy anything you want".
With that he turns around and walks back to the car.

Is he leaving me here?
Oh.

A part of me wished he'd stay and that part of me was stupid. Hope is something i never relied on,ever. I walk into the mall and try to find my way through the place. I walked into a few shops and when i was done i went to get food and opted for McDonald.

I ordered food and sat at table. Across me there was a little girl with her family,she was smiling widely as they made her laught. At that moment,i realised how unfair life was. I know we don't always get what we want but i just crave the bare minimum. To be accompanied by my dad on my first day of school,to sneak out with mira to parties,to be advised by my mom,to go on girls night out with fio and to do movie nights with my brother.

You're getting weak dona.

I went to fetch my order and sat down. After eating i went outside and saw that Matteo's car was nowhere to be seen.

He left...
Oh.

I stood there and waiting for him.

Fio's pov

I was busy doing some work. I own a makeup line,'Ruby lips'. I started it years ago and it blew up.

Matteo walked through the door and i assumed they were back from shopping. Mom walked out of the kitchen, probably hoping to see Dona.

"Where's dona?",she asked looking behind matteo. Matteo shrugged in response. Enzo appeared behind mom,"Mom's asking you a question".

"You said to take her to the mall and i did"

Wait....he left her at the mall?!!

"You left her at the mall?!",i asked angrily
"You never said to babysit her"

"Matteo Russo,you left you sister at the mall,at a place where she is not familiar with",mom states holding her spatula up.

This seemed to dawn on matteo.

How can he be this stupid?!!

Dona's pov

Its been about an hour since I've been waiting for Matteo. Its safe to say this si the most patient I've ever been.

The sky started looking dark and gloomy,indicating that rain is gonna pour. And just as i thought it start drizzling.

I decided to walk home as the rain started to pour even harder.

I don't need them anyway....

By the time i got home,i was soaking wet and a coughing mess.

I walked through the door and in to the house. I wanted my bed at this point. Mom rushed to me,"oh my baby,are you okay?"

Do i look ok woman?

I just nodded and headed to my room. I don't know why matteo did what he did. If he didn't want to take me to the mall he could've just said so.

After i got to my room,i changed into my pyjamas and got into bed.

For once,i felt like tomorrow was going to be manageable....

Matteo's pov

I didn't mean to leave her,i wasn't thinking.
"Are you out of your mind matteo?!Hai lasciato tua sorella al centro commerciale? Non hai pensato a cosa le sarebbe successo?!
'Are you out of you mind?How could you leave your sister at the mall?!

Mom gave me lecture,while occasionally threatning to beat me with her spatula. I could tell dad was disappointed and i dont blame him.
